The Impact Of Ethical Leadership On Miners' Unsafe Behavior

The management of unsafe behaviors of miners has always been highly valued by the government and coal mining enterprises.In recent years,data show that more than 96.5% of coal mine safety accidents in our country are caused by human factors.The main reasons are from the following two aspects.On the one hand,coal production is a relatively dangerous production activity;on the other hand,it is due to the lack of awareness of the employees on the front line of coal mine production.Therefore,more and more researchers are concerned about the management of unsafe behaviors of miners,but most of them are one-sided management of unsafe behaviors of miners,using punishments and corrections to reduce unsafe behaviors of employees.In recent years,with the advancement of positive psychology,people are more willing to adopt some positive methods to manage employees.The management styles of ethical leadership,transformation leadership,and abusive leadership are well known by more and more researchers.Based on a large number of literature,this paper puts forward the hypothesis of the relationship between the three dimensions of ethical leadership in coal enterprises and unsafe behavior and work pressure of miners.In addition,it studies the scale developed by scholars at home and abroad,and further verifies and optimizes the scale to ensure the reliability and validity of the scale.SPSS21.0 and AMOS21.0 were used in this paper to analyze the collected data,and the method of questionnaire survey was also used.The data comes from517 valid questionnaires obtained from a coal enterprise in Shanxi Province.According to research,the ethical leadership of coal production enterprises has a significant negative impact on the unsafe behavior of miners;the ethical leadership of coal production enterprises has a significant negative impact on the work pressure of miners;the work pressure of miners and the unsafe behavior of miners have a significant positive effect;the work pressure of miners has an intermediary effect on the unsafe behavior of miners by ethical leaders of coal production enterprises.Therefore,it is particularly important for coal production enterprises to introduce some new management models.Although more advanced and active management methods are better than existing management methods,in actual operation we need to integrate the two organically.Only in this way can they complement each other and eliminate the rough and fine-tuned to form a good management model and lay a certain foundation for the safe and efficient economic development of coal mining enterprises.
