The Practice Report Of The English-Chinese Consecutive Interpretation Of The Spanish Eugene Family Wine Seminar

This thesis is a report based on an interpretation practice at a wine meeting.The author of the report(hereafter referred to as “the author”)was commissioned by the distributor of the organizer,Jiawo(Beijing)Wine Co.,Ltd.,to interpret for its suppliers from Spanish winery.The distributor also invited a group of clients to attend the meeting.In this task,the author encountered several problems in the process of interpretation.Firstly,the author met with accent problems and difficulties in understanding specialized vocabulary in the stage of listening comprehension.In this regard,the author takes fuzzy interpretation method and the method of contextualized interpretation.Secondly,the author also came across the problems of self-repetition and self-correction in the stage of output production.In this regard,the author takes deverbalization and diversified expressions.Finally,the author wishes that this thesis could provide some advice for interpreters and MTI students.
