A Study Of Adam Schaff's Marxist View Of History

Adam Schaff(1913--2006)is not only a famous Philosopher in Poland,but also an important representative of neo-Marxism in Eastern Europe.Schaff insisted and developed a series of marxist thoughts and theories on human philosophy,alienation theory,social autonomy and socialist humanism.Among them,the thoughts and theories about marxist historical view play a very important role in promoting the development and practical application of contemporary Marxist theory.This paper tries to summarize,explain and study his Marxist view of history with dialectical materialism and historical materialism under the historical background,so as to reveal the profundity,uniqueness and scientific nature of his view of history,and then reveal the contemporary significance and value of his view of history.The main contents include: first,the analysis of the marxist view of history related to the mode of understanding.The status of cognitive subject in the three modes of cognitive relation is briefly expounded.To understand the subjectivity and subjectivity of the subject;To understand the form of cognition subject's participation in history.Secondly,it analyzes the relative problems of the relationship between subject and object in historical cognition.By defining the concepts of historical fact and objectivity of historical cognition,Schaff attacked the problems existing in positivism and modernism,thus explaining the correct understanding of objectivity of historical cognition by Marxism.Finally,the humanistic connotation of historical view is expounded.Schaff's philosophy,alienation theory and historical epistemology all take people as their foothold and purpose.These theories enrich the connotation of historical humanism from different aspects.It can be said that the proposal of humanism is of great significance to Schaff's historical view.It is not only the ideological basis of Schaff's historical view,but also the theoretical destination of his historical view.Schaff's view of history is a humanitarian Marxist view of history.The case for research,not only to deepen its humanitarian of sand,the understanding of marxism,also can deepen the study of Poland's new marxism,but also can improve the content and development of marxist historical materialism,help people to better cognitive marxist epistemology and historical view,strengthen the practice of marxism.
