In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the manual cultural course wins great popularity because of its high participation degree and experience.Nonetheless,in the academic circles,there is a lack of in-depth discussion on the specific teaching mode of manual cultural course.Although the manual culture course requires the participation of students,scholars have different ideas on how to participate in so as to obtain an ideal teaching effect.Combining with the personal teaching experience in Thailand,the author of the paper theoretically probes into the specific teaching mode of manual cultural course from the perspective of experiential teaching method,introduces corresponding teaching cases,and aims to offer helpful reference for the foreign Chinese teaching of manual cultural course.This dissertation consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction which mainly elaborates the reason of topic selection,research status and methodology.From the angle of current research status,the discussion of manual cultural course in the academic circle is relatively less.This dissertation tries to investigate the specific teaching of manual cultural course by combining the theory with the practice.The second part is the survey analysis on the setting of the manual cultural course.Before setting the manual cultural course,the researcher not only conducts an extensive investigation on Kanchanapisek Udonthani Technical College,but also gains a comprehensive understanding of the students' learning interests,hobbies and difficulties,the purpose of which is to provide the essential prerequisite and preparation for the teaching method and content of the manual cultural course.The third part is the integrated design on the specific teaching method and plan of the manual cultural course.To begin with,the researcher explores the connotation,theoretical basis and teaching mode of the experiential teaching and attempts to comprehensively discuss the experiential teaching in theory.Furthermore,the specific teaching scheme of the experiential manual cultural course is introduced in detail.The fourth part presents the three teaching cases of experiential manual cultural course: “costume,paper cutting and Chinese knot”.Besides,the case consists of two sections: one is the specific teaching content and the other is the specific teaching procedure.The fifth part sums up the issues and solutions about teachers,students and teaching in the teaching process,comprehensively reflects on the strengths and weaknesses of experiential manual cultural course,and proposes some measures for further improvement.
