Research On The Application Of Casework Method In Social Assistance And Education Of Minors Involved In Crime

The newly revised Criminal Procedure Law in 2013 provided for special procedures for juvenile criminal cases and established a conditional non-prosecution system for juvenile crimes.The establishment of this system can better educate and correct minor offenders,and give them a chance to change.However,in judicial practice,due to the large number of cases and the lack of professionalism,the procuratorial organs could not complete the investigation and teaching work during the conditional non-prosecution.In order to solve this problem,many local procuratorates try to cooperate with social worker organizations,and professional social workers help the minors involved in crime.Social work enters the field of juvenile justice,corrects the behavior of minors involved in crime,helps solve the problems they face,helps minors involved in crime return to society,and promotes social harmony and stability.However,the current social work involved in assisting minors involved in crimes is facing many problems,such as imperfect related legal systems,the failure of the main body of assisting to form synergy,and the level of assisting to be improved.This research adopts a qualitative research method,using a case of social help as an entry point,and uses the case work method to carry out social assistance for minors involved in crime.Investigate the practice path of social work involved in the education of minors involved in crimes and the judicial social work model of minors.Through practice,it has been found that casework method is the main method used by social workers and play a vital role.However,a single method cannot solve the multiple problems faced by the client.The comprehensive use of casework methods,group work methods,and community volunteer activities can greatly improve the effectiveness of social help and education.
