Research On Improving The Efficiency Of Local Government Services

As an innovative practice of the administrative examination and approval system,the reform of government services has effectively broken the decentralization and fragmentation among government departments.Guizhou Province has established government service departments and entity government affairs halls at the provincial,city,and county levels of government.Relying on the Internet and big data technology foundation,it has coordinated the establishment of "one network and two ends" to achieve the integration of government services and cover the provinces,cities,counties,and counties.Townships and villages have formed a three-level linkage and five-level government service pattern,which provides a good environment for the development of provincial government services.Under the tenet of "Serving the People",local governments are committed to optimizing services and improving the efficiency of government services.Therefore,this article focuses on the effectiveness of local government services and conducts research with X County as the research object.This article uses participatory observation method and interview method to conduct research,combined with new public management theory,new public service theory,and holistic governance theory to analyze and interpret the reform,development and status quo of X County’s government services.At the same time,it is constructed from the service concept.Regarding the multi-dimensional evaluation index system of X County’s government service effectiveness,the evaluation mainly adopts target management method,questionnaire method,and interview method for data collection,statistics,and analysis.Through the service efficiency evaluation,it is found that there is still room for improvement in the service efficiency of County X.Based on the analysis of the efficiency influencing factors,it is believed that the local government should improve the system construction and straighten out the responsibilities of all parties;increase authorization and deepen organic integration;Establish service concepts,optimize services,etc.,make efforts to improve service efficiency,and achieve balanced and sound development of government services in the province.
