Remembrance Therapy Is Used In The Research On The Spiritual Comfort Of The Elderly In Orphanages

My country entered an aging society in 1999,and the issue of elderly care has attracted increasing public attention.At present,the traditional "family care for the elderly" is fading,and modern welfare homes for the elderly are emerging day by day.Welfare homes can well meet the needs of the elderly in terms of basic living security and material level.However,there are obvious deficiencies in spiritual care and psychological services,which leads to low life satisfaction of the elderly in the orphanages,with varying degrees of satisfaction.There are many mental and psychological problems.Therefore,how to improve the level of spiritual comfort for the elderly in welfare homes has become an important topic in contemporary elderly care services.The author conducted an on-site investigation of the welfare home in J City G,using interview and survey methods to understand the current situation of mental comfort for the elderly in the orphanage,and found that the mental comfort needs of the elderly in the orphanage were not met,and there were more negative emotions and social interactions.Loss of getting smaller,lack of sense of value in life,and other issues.This study takes the case study of the application of the memorial therapy to the mental comfort of the elderly in the welfare home as an example,combined with the actual needs of the mental comfort of the elderly in the G orphanage,and explores the practical research on the application of the memorial therapy to the mental comfort of the elderly in the orphanage.This research selected an elderly person from the G orphanage as the service object,focusing on helping the service object obtain spiritual comfort,reshaping the service object's self-awareness,enhancing the service object's sense of self-identity,helping the service object adapt to the life of the orphanage,and improving their life The overall goal of satisfaction is to use the memorial therapy to conduct casework practical research.First of all,the author took the case and estimated it and found that the client has to reshape the client's self-awareness,enhance emotional communication,and meet their cultural and entertainment needs.Secondly,through six case services,the use of memory therapy to reduce the negative emotions of the client,enhance the sense of self-identity,and enhance the sense of self-worth,and ultimately meet the needs of the client for spiritual comfort.Finally,after the end of the memorial therapy intervention service,the evaluation found that memorial therapy has an advantage in spiritual comfort for the elderly in the orphanage.However,this research also requires multiple channels to understand the needs of the client's spiritual comfort and improve the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the needs;the individual remembrance and group remembrance should be effectively combined;while actively listening to the client's memories of the past,it is necessary to guide the client to Issues such as topic focus need to be improved in future research.
