Research On Meal Assistance And Catering Services For The Elderly In The "village-to-house" Community In Guangzhou

Since 1999,China has entered an aging society.With the increasing of the aging population,more and more discussions and explorations on the pension methods suitable for the national conditions of our country are also made.In recent years,the community home pension model,which is purchased by the government and provided by social forces,has gradually emerged,and provides an effective way for the development of the community home pension with the help of food service to solve the problem of the elderly.There are many cities in the country are vigorously promoting food service,set up community dining hall for the elderly,to provide the elderly with inclusive "love meal ".Based on the theory of community care,this paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of food service in Y" village of Guangzhou.First of all,through literature analysis,field visits,observation and other methods,we have a detailed understanding of the basic situation of the Y "village to live" community,especially the historical and cultural background of the "village to live" community,including the changes of the community,cultural customs and so on.Then on the basis of Y the situation of the elderly population in the community,through questionnaires and interviews,in-depth understanding of the impact of aging on the elderly in the community.Then,the paper introduces the development of food service,and discusses the effect of food service in the "village-to-house" community from the aspects of the content of food service and the complementarity with informal care.Then through the practice and exploration of food service,the problems and analysis of food service are analyzed from three aspects: social work organization,service object and buyer,especially the failure of social work organization to give full play to its professional advantages.Finally,combined with the actual situation of the "village to live" community,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the "village to live" community meal service.First,social work institutions should give full play to the professional advantages of social work,meet the needs of the elderly and provide local services that meet their living experiences and living environment;second,make use of the unique resources of the community.Third,the buyer as a formal caregiver can increase the service funds,establish a scientific evaluation incentive mechanism to ensure the quality of food service for the elderly,and ultimately promote the development of "village to residential" community home pension services.
