Evaluation And Spatial Differentiation Of Comprehensive Land Carrying Capacity In The Bohai Rim Region

The carrying capacity of land resources is the capacity and limit of the land to carry out human various production and construction activities.It is of great significance to evaluate the carrying capacity of land resources in a region for the realization of rational planning and intensive utilization of land.It is also crucial to measure the carrying capacity of land resources and obtain the obstacle factors for learning land-use condition,promoting land-use transformation and establishing the early warning mechanism of carrying capacity of land resources.Exploring the spatial correlation of the comprehensive carrying capacity of land resources can provide a powerful policy basis for formulating the coordinated development strategy of the Bohai Rim region.This paper chooses forty four cities of the Bohai Rim region as the survey region and constructs the corresponding evaluation index system of the land resources' comprehensive carrying capacity.First of all,this paper uses the comprehensive weight assessment method which is based on mean variance decision method and coefficient of variation method to evaluate four subsystems including water-soil resources,ecological-environment,economic-technology,social-humanities as well as the comprehensive carrying system.Then this paper studies the autocorrelation of the comprehensive carrying capacity of land resources in space by using the exploratory spatial data analysis method and then the spatial distribution difference of the comprehensive carrying capacity of land resources is obtained.Finally,the obstacle degree model is introduced to analyze the main obstacle factors that influence the carrying capacity of land resources.In the end,the evaluation grade,spatial distribution characteristics and obstacle factors of the comprehensive carrying capacity of land resources in Bohai Rim region are obtained.The results show that :The comprehensive carrying capacity of land resources in Bohai Rim region has been continuously improved during the study period,with an obvious growth rate and a large increase range.The comprehensive carrying capacity has been in a high level by 2018.During the study period,the comprehensive land carrying capacity of the Bohai Rim region has a positive spatial correlation,that is to say there is high value zone and high value zone agglomeration,and low value zone and low value zone agglomeration.It can be concluded by using the obstacle degree model that the biggest obstacle to the whole Bohai Rim region is economic-technology subsystem and from the index layer,larger obstacle factors include grain output,industrial solid waste comprehensive utilization,the third industry's proportion in GDP,the actual use of foreign funds,the total retail sales of consumer goods in society,the population density.Based on the research results,this paper puts forward six improvement paths: Take the path of green ecological sustainable development;Rationally use land resources and improve land use efficiency;Establish the land resource carrying capacity's early warning mechanism for Bohai Rim region;Increase the yield per capita and improve the urban land use model;To control the scale of the population and ease the conflict between man and land;Make continuous improvement of system construction to achieve efficient and coordinated development in the Bohai Rim region.
