China has entered a new stage of development under the 14 th Five-Year Plan in recent days,the development of the Party and the country will face a series of new opportunities and challenges.Under this new development situation,the Party and the state put forward to give priority to the development of agriculture and rural areas,and comprehensively promote the rural revitalization strategy.The modernization of rural governance system and governance capacity is the foundation to realize rural revitalization.As grass-roots organizations of women's federations in rural areas,village-level women's federations are important subjects to participate in rural governance,important carriers to promote rural economic and social development,and important channels to promote women's participation in rural governance.Village-level women's federations play an important role in promoting the modernization of rural governance system and rural governance capacity.Therefore,In the new period,village-level women's federations should consider and solve how to adapt to the development situation and strategic deployment in the new era and give play to the unique role of village-level women's federations in rural governance,how to promote effective,dynamic,harmonious and orderly rural social governance while not only provide assistance to the Party and the government,but also serve and represent women well.From this,this article chooses M Village in Fuling District as the research point and makes an in-depth study on the current situation of M Village Women's Federation's participation in rural governance.Through four "Women's Brands" activities.The women's foundation of M village mobilizing women to participate in rural governance,promoting women's entrepreneurship and employment,caring for vulnerable groups,and carrying out family civilization construction have played a positive role in rural governance of M Village.However,there are also certain deficiencies in the participation of M Village Women's Federation in rural governance,such as lack of exert and financial support,low efficiency,backward working methods,and imbalance of women's enthusiasm to participate in governance etc.Almost invariably,the cause can be traced to inaccurate function positioning,rigid working mechanism,weak organization construction,Lack of cooperation with other social organizations etc.In order to carry forward village-level women's federations participate in rural governance,this article holds the solutions that can improve the effectiveness of villagelevel women's federations' participation in rural governance,based on the M village women's federation organization participation in rural governance experience and problems,first is to improve the initiative of women's federations to participate in rural governance,clear functional positioning;Second is to established and improve the mechanism so as to guarantee the participation of women's federations in rural governance;Third is to strengthen the organization of women's federations themselves,improve the ability of women's federations to participate in rural governance;Fourth is to Innovate participation methods and highlight the characteristics of the Women's Federation in the new era in rural governance.
