| According to the data of "seven people",China's aging process accelerates faster than that of "six people",and Heilongjiang Province shows a trend of accelerated aging.Since entering the aging society in 2005,the aging degree of Heilongjiang Province has been deepening,and in 2020 it will reach a new high level of 15.61%.Like the whole country,Heilongjiang Province faces the problem of mismatch between the level of aging and the level of economic development,and aging will have certain impact on economic growth.In this context,it is very important to study the impact of population aging on economic growth in Heilongjiang province.In this paper,we study the impact of population aging on economic growth in Heilongjiang Province,and analyze the mechanism of the effect of aging on economic growth with the relevant data of Heilongjiang Province.First,the spatial and temporal evolution of population aging in Heilongjiang Province is studied in two dimensions:time and space.Secondly,the influence mechanisms of labor supply,savings level,technological progress,and human capital level as mediating variables are discussed in two dimensions: supply and demand.Then,the relationship between aging and economic growth is investigated empirically using regression analysis,and the results show that an inverted U-shaped relationship between population aging and economic growth in Heilongjiang Province is presented.The influence path of aging on economic growth in Heilongjiang Province was examined using mediating effect analysis,and the results showed that labor supply,savings level,and industrial structure as mediating variables had strong mediating effect test significance,but technological progress and human capital level did not pass the significance test.Finally,corresponding countermeasures are suggested for the negative impact of population aging on economic growth in Heilongjiang Province. |
