With the development of the society and the intense competition,it requires the students have not only rich knowledge but also ability of self-learning.In that case,the students can acquire new informations and update them continually by self-learning after graduation from college.It requires the students developed in the school are not only intelligent man but also social man.So that the students can easy to communicate with others after their graduation,and also can compete and cooperate with the other people.This requires the college to instruct the students to learn by themselves.It including two aspects:First is to instruct the students to carry on the individual studies,the other is to instruct them to carry on the community studies.However,intelligent man may be possible only by instructing the students to carry on individual studies,but in this way social person is impossible.To train the students to be social man can only be achieved by community studies.In this sense,I think to instruct the students to carry on the community studies is more needful today.Martial arts teaching is an very important part of college P.E.classes,think over how to teach Martial arts better is necessary.During the Martial arts teaching,many teachers prepare the lessons with hidebound thought,fixed teaching method,steps,time and times,the students have no time or hardly have time to study by themselves.There is little communication between teachers and students.We usually find that the students are all excited in the first class,then their interests may reduce and at last some one may even have weary moods.We find small community teaching mode has a very important significance in improving the students’ learning positivity and teaching quality as well as in developing the students’ team spirit and consciousness of cooperation.Moreover,it also has a very important significance in improving students’ level of mental health and the adaptability to the society.On the basis of summing up other people’s experiences,from the practice of martial arts teaching,this paper put forward a mode to teach in small community during the Martial arts teaching,in order to offer references for Martial arts teaching,and facilitate the reformation of the college P.E.teaching.The primary methods used in this paper are comparative experiment,questionnaire and statistics.The research are followings:1.Examine the research after experiment,and give a statistic analysis of the results.It shows that the students’ potential in the experimental class can be fully developed and their grades are better than the students’ in comparative class.2.Make questionnaires about whether the students like Martial arts or not.The result shows that the students in the experimental class are more interested in Martial arts than the students in the comparative class.3.Make questionnaires about the students’ mental health before and after the experiment.Then collect the data,give an statistic analysis by using the softwear which is called SPSS13.0.The result shows that there is little influence on the students’ mental health in traditional mode teaching,but the mental health level of the students in experimental class is largely improved,especially in the aspect of social relations.4.After the experiment,make questionnaires about adaptability to the society.All data are statistic analyzed by using SPSS 13.0.The result shows that there is little influence on the students’ social adaptability in traditional mode teaching,but the student’s adaptability to the society in experimental class are largely improved,especially in studying adaptability,social adaptability,etc.
