Ancient prose is the focus of high school teaching.This study adopts literature research method,action research method and investigation research method.Firstly,based on the relationship between the theory of accepting aesthetics and the teaching of high school ancient prose,it points out the commonality of "reader center","Expecting Vision","Summoning Structure" theory in accepts aesthetics and the new curriculum standard theory;At the same time,analyzing the ancient prose in the high school Chinese textbook of Jiangsu Education Edition from the perspective of the recipient;and then exploring the relationship between the aesthetic theory and the ancient prose teaching.Then,through the way of questionnaire survey,we find the problems existing in the actual teaching.Combining with the aesthetic theory of acceptance,we analyze these problems and draw conclusions:valuing the teachers and despising the students,the lack of the student's subject reading experience;valuing the examinations and despising studying,hindering the students' expectation;valuing listening and despising thoughts,neglecting the structure of text summoning.Finally,in order to improve the current teaching situation,this study believes that it is possible to guide the teaching of high school ancient prose with the theory of accepting aesthetics,optimizing teaching quality by the ways of reconstructing the role of teachers and students in teaching,enriching students' life and aesthetic experience,mobilizing students' subjective initiative,improving their capability of reading,imagination and construction.
