In junior middle school Chinese teaching,the composition teaching can be called"half the country"Its importance is self-evident.In the composition,the correct use of language to communicate,convey feelings to express ideas,good writing skills,is an important tool for people to survive in society.Junior middle school is an important stage of composition training for students,which lays a solid foundation for composition study and later life in senior high school.From the point of view,120 points of the Chinese test paper,composition value occupies 70 points.It can be said that if students write well,Chinese teaching will be more than half successful.Composition success can be language success,composition failure can lead to language failure.Composition teaching needs are not only language ability training,written expression ability training,but also training students’ thinking ability,deeply feeling nature,society and life.It can be seen that writing ability comprehensively reflects students’ Chinese literacy,and also fully demonstrates the importance of composition teaching in Chinese teaching.However,composition always has beeen a big problem.Traditional composition teaching has been difficult to adapt to the trend of educational reform.Under the pressure of the high school entrance examination,composition teaching has become a subsidiary of reading teaching,teachers have no time to pay attention to composition teaching,composition class has become a decoration.On the other hand,the teaching effect of composition teaching is not obvious.As a result,teachers do not want to teach,and some even do not teach at all.Most students do not want to write,can not write,junior high school composition class fell into a vicious cycle.In the long run,students’writing ability has not been improved,let alone the cultivation of Chinese literacy.In order to improve the students’ writing skills,the L middle sghool of Changzhi city has done some efforts for writing composition since the spring of 2017.The teachers and students focus on the contents of writing,the analysis of writing and the evaluation of writing,and they.It is of great significance.The composition time is guaranteed and writing ability gradually improves.Based on the present situation,this thesis is divided into five chapters.Chapter one mainly tells about the definination of writing composition and the writing purpose and significance.Chapter two expounds the requirments of composition teaching,focuses on the composition training standard of L middle school in Changzhi and is of significance of compositiontraining.Chapter three mainly expores the achievements that the teachers,analyze the basic teaching and learning situation of "practice weekly".Chapter four finds out the students have made with the method "practice weekly",the exisiting problems in "practice weekly" and the causes of these problems.Chapter five does further anaysis and put forward some strategies.As for the teachers,they should improve students’ writing interests while the teaching contents should keep pace ith the times and the teahing methodsneed to be changeable and updated.As for the studentes,they must abservelife carefully and cultivate habits of accumulating materials if they want to writer better composition.Meanwhile train their logical thinking ability by themselves until they know what to say before they write something.
