| Physical education is an important component of basic education,and the construction of a high-level physical education teacher team has a profound impact on improving the quality of basic education.Currently,Zigong City is in the stage of implementing the "14th Five Year Plan" for the development of education in Zigong City,and the professional construction of teachers is an important part of Zigong City’s education development.In this paper,literature review,expert interviews,questionnaires,mathematical statistics and other research methods are used to investigate and study the current situation of the professional development of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Zigong City.The test data are statistically analyzed using spss26.0 software to find out the problems and shortcomings of the professional development of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Zigong City,explore the factors affecting the professional development of physical education teachers,and propose scientific and reasonable promotion strategies,Enriched the research theory of professional development of primary and secondary school physical education teachers,provided suggestions for the development of physical education teachers,and promoted the development of physical education courses in primary and secondary schools in Zigong City.The main conclusions are as follows:1.There is still a certain gap between the professional development and standards of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Zigong City,and the basic structure of the physical education teacher team in primary and secondary schools is basically reasonable;The survey on the dimensions of teacher ethics is good,but there is a lack of professional development concepts;Teachers’ professional knowledge level is not ideal,and students’ development knowledge,subject knowledge,education and teaching knowledge,and general knowledge all need to be strengthened and cultivated;Teachers have weak research abilities and lack ways to cultivate professional abilities.2.From the investigation and development of the basic situation of teachers,the gender and title structure of the teaching team of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Zigong City is relatively reasonable,but there is still a distance between the level of teachers and the needs of professional development,and teachers undertake more work in addition to teaching,and the daily work workload is large.3.Based on the investigation of the current professional development status of primary and secondary school physical education teachers in Zigong City under the "Professional Standards",it was found that most teachers love sports,but some teachers have a negative teaching attitude and lack a sense of professional responsibility;Most teachers have a high evaluation of their professional ethics,but there is a phenomenon of "water courses" in actual teaching;Teachers pay less attention to individual differences among students and need to improve their own lesson preparation and teaching;Teachers have an average level of mastery of professional knowledge and lack effective consolidation and training after joining the workforce;The school attaches low importance to the training of physical education teachers,and the practicality of the onboarding training content is not strong;The promotion channels for physical education teachers are extremely lacking.Due to the high workload and weak scientific research level of physical education teachers,achieving professional development is difficult and faces many obstacles.4.The main influencing factors of the professional development of physical education teachers are classified into seven categories.They are social factors,school factors,teachers’ own factors,physical education teachers’ professional ability factors,family factors,student factors,professional attitudes and ethics.Among them,school factors are the main influencing factors,and the importance of schools,the teaching workload of schools,and the atmosphere of cooperation and communication between school teachers have a greater impact on the professional development of physical education teachers.5.In response to the problems identified in the survey and research,it is recommended that school leaders should raise awareness of physical education;Strengthen the development of teachers’ scientific research capacity;Optimize the structure of the number of teachers and reduce the weekly workload of teachers;strengthening post-service teacher training;Build a culture of campus learning;Form interdisciplinary organizations and team building in the school. |
