Psychological resilience is an indispensable factor for the healthy growth of teenagers.High school students are faced with dual pressures from life and school.High school students are often tired of learning, addicted to the Internet, bullied on campus, suicide and criminal incidents in recent years.Improving the psychological resilience of high school students is conducive to improving their mental health in stressful environments.Individuals, families and society are important protective factors for psychological resilience:social support belongs to the two levels of family or social protection factors;academic self-concept and academic achievement level belong to the personal influencing factors.High school students with high levels of social support, academic self-concept,and high academic performance, whose psychological resilience is more positive. Therefore, this study explores the relationship between social support, academic self-concept and academic performance on the psychological resilience of high school students,in order to provide more detailed data support for targeted mental health education in schools and families. In this study,1239 high school students from a boarding and non boarding mixed school in Tianshui City,Gansu Province were investigated by the Perceived Social Support Scale, the Adolescent Academic Self-Concept Scale and the Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescent, and the subjects' scores in the last final examination were recovered.Spss22.0 was used to describe statistics, differences and correlation analysis of data;amos23.0 was used to establish a structural equation model to explore the influence of social support, academic self-concept and academic performance on students resilience, and the bias corrected bootstrap method was used to test the intermediary role of academic self-concept and academic performance in the mechanism of social support on psychological resilience of high school students.Summarized the similarities and differences of boarding and non-boarding high school students in the chain mediation model.Results:(1)High school students' social support level in this study was higher. The family structure of social support was significantly different;the accommodation of social support was significantly different;there was no significant difference in gender and grade of social support.(2)High school students' academic self-concept level in this study was higher. And the difference of grade was significant;there were no significant differences in gender, family structure and accommodation of academic self-concept among senior high school students in this study.(3)High school students' resilience level in this study was higher. And the difference of grade was significant;the difference of accommodation was significant;there was no significant difference in gender and family structure of high school students' resilience.(4)There were significant positive correlations among social support, academic self-concept,academic achievement and psychological resilience;Social support, academic self-concept and academic performance significantly positively predicted resilience.(5)Academic self-concept is the mediation variable of social support and psychological resilience;academic performance is the mediation variable of social support and psychological resilience;academic self-concept and academic performance are the chained mediation variable between social support and psychological resilience.(6)The chain mediating effect is significant in the boarding high school students, but not in the non boarding high school students. The social support of the boarding high school students not only directly predicts the psychological resilience, but also indirectly predicts the psychological resilience through academic self-concept and academic performance. The non boarding high school students have no such indirect prediction effect. Conclusion:There is a close relationship between high school students' psychological resilience and their level of social support, and academic self-concept and academic performance are the chained mediation variable between social support and psychological resilience. In addition, this study found that the above relationship is different in the way of accommodation.Specifically, for boarding high school students, social support, academic self-concept and academic performance are significantly positive predictors of psychological resilience;for non boarding high school students, academic performance is not significant predictor of psychological resilience. It shows that the psychological resilience of boarding students is weak and more supportive factors are needed.
