The female image in Chinese textbooks of middle school is an important subject of Chinese teaching,which plays an inestimable role in Chinese learning and Chinese teaching over the whole middle school.These various female images in textbooks exhibit a variety of personality characteristics and reflectdifferent concepts of value, which have a guiding effect on the growth of teenagers.This study is based on the Chinese textbooks of middle school under the newest curriculum standards.Most of the female images are investigated, as follows:In chapter one, the background and significance of this thesis are introduced, the research situation ofthe thesis is summarized and the theoretical basis and innovation points of this study are given;In chapter two, the basic information about the female images in Chinese textbooks is given, the wayand the characteristic of presentation of these female images which are showed. These female images arealso classified and analyzed, which will lay the foundation of the relative teaching research;In chapter three, all kinds of typical female images in textbooks are analyzed and discussed in detailfrom the beauty of appearance, kinship, love, tragedy, personality and individuality to explore the teachingvalues fully among them;In chapter four, the questionnaire survey about these female images is carried out to make this studymore convincing. By analyzing these results, a series of problems which these female images reflect arepointed out;In chapter five, several relevant teaching strategies are put forward to solve the existing problemsbased on the former chapters. Firstly, three suggestions are proposed about the setting and layout ofChinese textbooks; Secondly, the teaching strategies of female images during teachers teaching arediscussed mainly, including the suggestions on educational concepts, teaching resources, sociality, epochalcharacter, humanity and so on;This paper firstly focuses on the subject of the fame images in Chinese textbooks of middle schoolpublished by People’s Education Press under the newest curriculum standards systematically. Byemploying the diversified studying methods of literature researching, statistical classification, questionnaire survey and so on, the teaching values inside the female images in Chinese textbooks can be explored fullyand reasonably to promote the better implement of Chinese teaching process in middle school.
