Education lays the foundation for a great country.Basic education is the initial phase of the whole education system,and it is a great cause for national economic and people's livelihood and national revitalization.So,how to improve the quality of basic education has become a top priority for promoting the development of education,providing human resources,and providing energy for society.The IB program is known as "high-quality education" and is an excellent example of international courses.It aims to provide high-quality international education for children aged 3-19.Therefore,its curriculum concept is in line with the trend of contemporary education,and its implementation link also has many outstanding advantages.At the same time,the author is studying elementary school education,and has specially selected the PYP course of the IB elementary school project(hereinafter referred to as the PYP course).To give PYP courses the meaning of structuralism and semiotics,to study it as a course model,has positive academic significance and practical value for the development of basic education.This study is divided into three parts.The first part is an analysis of the historical development and development basis of the IB PYP course.First of all,to carry out investigation and research in combination with the historical development at that time,understand its development process,and specifically analyze its development background,development stage and development characteristics.Among them,according to the stage characteristics of the development of things,the development process is summarized into four stages:germination,formation,development and prosperity.Then,the development basis of the PYP course is analyzed and elaborated,divided into theoretical basis,development philosophy and development principles.Relevant evidence is extracted from its official documents and related documents,and an argument is made.The second part is to dissect the basic framework of the PYP curriculum model and conduct case analysis.According to the classification of the curriculum development model,the framework is divided into four aspects:curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.First,summarize the rich training objectives of the PYP curriculum,with learner characteristics,interdisciplinary ability,and attitude requirements.Second,to analyze the content of the course,this article focuses on the detailed analysis of the six major interdisciplinary courses,combined with the basic elements of the PYP course,to study its concept-driven characteristics.Thirdly,it analyzes its detailed curriculum implementation,and analyzes the implementation environment,implementation guarantee and specific teaching activities.Then,analyze its diverse curriculum evaluation,including evaluation,recording,and feedback.Finally,select an excellent case-the British South Bank International School supports the framework of the PYP curriculum,and still analyzes the four aspects of the curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation,and selects a teaching unit in the interdisciplinary curriculum of the lower grades Conduct a case study.The third part is a rational reflection on the PYP curriculum model.First,look at the PYP course as a model of the course dialectically,summarize its characteristics and advantages,and also discuss the difficulties and challenges in its implementation.The advantage part can be used for our country's independent curriculum development to absorb and learn from.The difficulty part is the aspect that my country's PYP schools need to overcome when adopting and implementing this course.Then,from the perspective of the development of the PYP curriculum model,summing up its development vision also represents the future development direction of education.Finally,the enlightenment of studying PYP curriculum model to my country is obtained.For my country's basic education,the curriculum is advancing with the times and constantly changing is the eternal requirement of contemporary education.Therefore,combined with the advantages of the PYP curriculum,a new round of basic education curriculum reform and the concept extension and practical essence of the school's independent curriculum development are condensed from it.This study uses case studies and literature collection to study the actual state of the IB PYP curriculum model,including its generation and development,development basis,curriculum basic framework and case analysis.Through its excellent practice in the British South Bank International School,it has refined its objective understanding of the PYP curriculum model.By critically analyzing the reasonable part of the PYP curriculum model and absorbing it and transplanting it into the great cause of basic education reform in China,I use it not only for the socialist education cause,but also for each school to independently design and develop courses Framework guidance and philosophy reference.
