| The undergraduate education stage is the key stage to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for research and cultivate students’ scientific research literacy,and cultivating undergraduates’scientific research ability is the strong demand of building an innovative country.However,the existing research shows that the degree of scientific research investment and the development of scientific research ability of undergraduates in China are far from the standard they should be,while the impact of achievement motivation and research methods on scientific research performance has been paid more and more attention.Therefore,this study used measurement method to investigate 313 undergraduate students,to examine the characteristics of undergraduate achievement motivation,research methods and scientific research performance,to analyze the correlation between the three and verify the intermediary role between the research method in achievement motivation and scientific research performance.In addition,this paper also conducted semi-structured interviews with ten undergraduates,analyzed the factors that affected the motivation of undergraduate achievement and the level of research methods,and further explored the relationship between the three variables.1.The average motivation of undergraduate achievement was negative,and a total of 98.4%of undergraduate achievement motivation level was not high or no positive achievement motivation level,and the overall undergraduate achievement motivation was weak.There is no significant difference in the motivation of undergraduate achievement in the various demographic factors.The proportion of undergraduates in the sample at the medium and low levels of research methods was 86.59 percent,and the overall level of undergraduate research methods was not good.The research methods have significant differences between undergraduates at different school levels and undergraduates in different subject categories,and there are no significant differences in the remaining demographic factors.The average value of the questions in the scientific research attitude performance and scientific research behavior performance dimension is about 3,and the average value of the research achievement performance is only 1.09,which shows that the undergraduate’s scientific research performance level is not good,and the number of scientific research achievements is insufficient.There are significant differences in scientific research performance among undergraduates in different disciplines,and there are no significant differences in the remaining demographic factors.2.Achievement motivation was positively correlated with scientific research performance,with a correlation coefficient of 0.551(p<0.01),achievement motivation and research methods were significantly positively correlated,the correlation coefficient was 0.386(p<0.01),and the research method was positively correlated with scientific research performance,with a correlation coefficient of 0.384(p<0.01).The direct effect and indirect effect of the research method in achievement motivation and scientific research performance are obvious,which shows that the research method plays a part intermediated role in achievement motivation and scientific research performance.3.The motivation level of undergraduate achievement is influenced by the four factors of goal attractiveness,achievement atmosphere,goal setting,achievement and feedback.This paper divides the undergraduate research method into two parts:the presentation knowledge of the research method and the scientific research practice,the presentation knowledge of the research method is mainly obtained through the professional curriculum and research method course,teaching materials and electronic resources,scientific research lectures,the influence factors of scientific research practice include professional courses and research methods courses,scientific research projects and scientific research competitions,scientific research team.Achievement motivation influences the research method by influencing the undergraduate’s learning autonomy,effort,attention to toughness and resource management strategy,which mainly influences the research self-efficacy of undergraduates.Finally,it is aimed at the achievement motivation and research method level of undergraduates:to carry out high-quality career planning guidance,to guide students to set up ambitious life goals,to set reasonable scientific research goals,to stimulate students’ achievement motivation,to create a positive atmosphere of achievement,to establish a good school atmosphere,to strengthen the function of talent training,to establish the concept of scientific research and education,to build Research method curriculum group,strengthen the teaching and training of research methods,promote curriculum and teaching reform,build research methods gold courses,in-depth scientific research projects and scientific and technological competitions,strengthen scientific research support for undergraduates,establish perfect rules and regulations,deepen the undergraduate tutor system,attach importance to the role of scientific research teams and scientific research guides,Actively build a platform for scientific research cooperation. |
