As a new digital learning resource,micro-class meet the personalized teaching needs of teachers and students.More and more researchers carry out micro-class research and gradually deepen.In recent years,the scope of domestic micro-class research has been relatively extensive,involving the basic theory,design and development,application and evaluation,ability training and promotion,and sustainable development of micro-class,and related achievements have also been relatively rich.However,literature studies have found that there are relatively few studies on the whole process of applying learning theory to the design,development,application,and evaluation of micro-class.In particular,there is less research on the whole process of design,development,application and evaluation of micro-class guided by learning motivation theory.The ARCS motivation model is a widely used learning motivation theory.The survey found that the motivation of junior high school students to learn information technology course needs to be improved.So,how to use the ARCS motivation model as a guide for the design,production and application of junior middle school information technology course micro-class to continuously stimulate,maintain and strengthen learning motivation to improve teaching effectiveness? This is an important subject worthy of in-depth study.This research mainly uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,classroom observation method,action research method and other research methods.First of all,through the literature research method,consult a large number of domestic and foreign literature materials,analyze the background,significance,current situation and problems of this research,define the core concepts,comb the theoretical foundation,establish the purpose and method,content and structure of the research,etc.basis.Then,using the questionnaire survey method,the basic situation of the motivation of the current junior high school students ’information technology course from the four aspects of the ARCS motivation model,the current use and demand of information technology resources in the student and teacher groups,and then the use of micro-class feasibility analysis to stimulate,maintain and strengthen students’ learning motivation.Then,based on the results of questionnaire survey statistics and analysis,under the guidance of ARCS motivation theory,the corresponding micro-class design models were constructed from four aspects: A attention,R relevance,C self-confidence,and S satisfaction.With different teaching strategies and teaching contents,three types of micro-class,namely problem-based micro-class,story-based micro-class and micro-class based on advance organizer strategies,were produced.Then,using the ARCS motivation model as a theoretical guide,apply micro-classes in the three stages of junior high school information technology course teaching before,during and after class,and in various teaching links,implement personalized teaching,and continuously stimulate,maintain and strengthen learning motivation.Finally,the questionnaire survey method,classroom observation method and the comparison of the number of excellent works are used to analyze and summarize the changes in the learning motivation of the junior high school students’ information technology course.Through this study,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)Junior high school students generally agree with and support the use of micro-class for personalized learning.Most students believe that micro-class can attract attention and arouse interest in learning.The combination of information technology and practical life creates a learning atmosphere.At the same time,micro-class can enhance their self-confidence in completing tasks according to their individual needs,so as to obtain satisfaction.(2)In this study,the ARCS motivation model not only guided the design and production of the micro-class content of the selected junior middle school information technology curriculum,but also guided the teaching application and evaluation of the micro-class.The study found that the design,production,implementation,and evaluation of microclass based on the ARCS motivation model help to continuously stimulate,maintain,and strengthen students’ learning motivation,and promote teacher’s personalized teaching and student’s personalized learning.(3)The study further found that the motivation,maintenance and reinforcement of students ’learning motivation are not only directly related to the design and production of micro-class,but also have a great relationship with the design,organization and implementation of teachers’ entire teaching activities and learning evaluation.ARCS motivation should be used The model is used as a guide to continuously stimulate,maintain and strengthen students’ learning motivation from the aspects of micro-class design,production,application(before,during and after class),teaching organization implementation and learning evaluation,so as to enhance the teaching effect.Of course,due to the impact of the epidemic,this study only selected a limited number of classes,students,and teaching content for a limited period of time.There are certain research limitations.I hope to provide information technology course teachers with ARCS-based micro-class design models and their Micro-class case and class reference.
