| STEAM education is project-based learning,which needs to show the knowledge through works.In the process of completing the work,master relevant knowledge and improve the ability of problem solving and hands-on.There are many modules in the junior high school physics textbook of people’s education edition that have clear requirements for students to complete relevant works,such as "think about doing" and "hands on brain to learn physics".There are also related self-made works in the exercises after class.But in the process of teaching,some teachers will not let students complete these requirements for the progress of the course.Although some teachers will let students do the works,most of them focus on whether students complete the works,pay attention to the appearance and use of the works,and neglect to guide students to understand the technology,engineering,art and mathematics.Only emphasizing "doing" and neglecting"how to do" makes the activity meaningless.Students only complete a work,but can’t learn more knowledge.Through a large number of documents,the author found that the idea of STEAM education can complement this situation.The effective integration of STEAM education into junior physics teaching can cultivate students’ ability of independent thinking,innovation and hands on ability.In my opinion,the practical activities in physics are essentially a kind of STEAM education activities,so it is unnecessary to spend a lot of manpower,material and financial resources to open new courses.The purpose of this paper is to study the integration of STEAM education concept into junior middle school physics practice class as a STEAM education activity of junior middle school physics teaching.Through the STEAM education activities to improve students’ interest in learning,from external motivation to internal motivation,improve students’ STEAM comprehensive literacy and STEAM ability.This paper summarizes the concepts and differences between STEM education and STEAM education by analyzing a large number of documents,then finds out the classification of STEAM courses,designs the practical activities based on the concept of steam education suitable for junior middle school physics teaching in China,and carries out the practice in a middle school in Yinchuan city:Through interviews and works evaluation,this activity can improve students’ STEAM comprehensive elements Cultivate and STEAM ability,and can effectively improve students’ interest in physics learning. |
