Educational discipline has always been a matter of great concern in education.Since the birth of education,educational discipline has existed in the field of education as a mean or an activity.Although many countries and regions have banned inhuman forms of punishment for children through bans,they have not completely negated the educational role of discipline.With the negative impact of improper punishment,people's misunderstandings about school management,education methods,and teacher's profession have become deeper and deeper.Teachers have been into the embarrassing situation of "should be right,but dare not." In order to standardize the implementation of educational discipline,educational researchers have analyzed the issue of educational discipline from multiple perspectives and in-depth levels,and many studies have shown that it is necessary to regulate and protect the teacher's disciplinary right from the perspective of legislation.The author chooses the perspective of caring and believes that the educational discipline itself has the nature of caring and concern.Discipline does not necessarily mean the exclusion,and not punishment does not necessarily mean the respect and caring.Started with the caring theory,the thesis sorts out the connotation of caring and relationship,the composition of nature and ethics and describes how to establish a circular caring relationship from both sides of the relationship,providing the theoretical basis for the development of the thesis firstly.Then,based on the analysis of the concept of educational discipline,the thesis uses Nvivo 11(a text analysis software)to analyze the legitimacy and limitations of educational discipline in China's education laws and regulations and to analyze the possibility of "caring" as a theoretical perspective to analyze the problem of educational discipline.Furthermore,the thesis analyzes the suitability of educational discipline and caring-theory from three aspects of value,process and effect,and establishes an analytical framework of educational discipline from the perspective of care.Thirdly,the problems in the implementation of educational discipline are summarized and analyzed with the materials collected through interviews and other channels.Finally,combined with the analytical framework of caring-theory,we should start with changing the concept of educational discipline,improving the way of education punishment and establishing a harmonious teacher-student relationship at least toward educational discipline with caring implication,reflecting the process of caring,and presenting the effect of caring.
