With the reform of the new curriculum,"Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2011 edition)"states that students should initially form a sense of reflection on the overall goal of the curriculum,emphasizes that reflection is one of the basic links in the formation and application of students’ perception knowledge in mathematics activities and shows that the students’ reflection on their own thinking process is taken as an important indicator of evaluation.Therefore,in the process of mathematics learning,reflection is a necessary condition for learning mathematics.After the publication of "the core literacy of Chinese students’ development",learning to learn is subdivided into three basic points:learning to learn,being diligent in reflection and information awareness.It can be seen that reflection ability is also an important part of students’ core literacy.Hence,in the process of mathematics learning in junior high school,it is particularly important to cultivate students’ mathematics reflection ability.Firstly,this research combed the literature about reflection and mathematical reflection ability at home and abroad through the literature method,and then discussed the theoretical basis related to reflection.Secondly,some junior high school students from a middle school in Shenzhen are selected as the research object,and the current situation of junior high school students’reflection in mathematics learning are investigated from the four dimensions:students’reflective consciousness,reflective habits,reflective skills,and reflective perseverance.By using the SPSS20.0 statistical analysis software and analyzing the data obtained from the questionnaire,the author found the following problems:in the specific behaviors,students’ awareness of reflective behavior is poor;in the process of mathematics learning,students can’t develop a good habit of reflection;the level of students’ reflection skills is not high,which is reflected in the low level of students’practical skills and evaluation skills,and the students’ reflection methods are simple;the students’ reflection perseverance is not strong and the differences between students’reflection perseverance are relatively significant.Then based on the results of the questionnaire survey and the classroom observation during the teaching practice,it is proposed that the main factors that affect the reflective ability of junior middle school students,which are students’ cognitive factors and non-cognitive factors,teachers’ reflective ability and teaching methods.Finally,according to the author’s experience of educational practice,experience summary method,and some specific cases,the following methods for cultivating junior high school students’ mathematics reflection ability are proposed from three aspects of before class,in class,after class:(1)To strengthen the students’ reflective experience in the pre-class preview,teachers can start by the following ways:guiding the preview method,providing a preview list,and evaluating the results of the preview.(2)In actual classroom teaching,teachers can strengthen students’ reflective learning from concept teaching,theorem teaching,and problem-solving teaching respectively.(3)After class,students develop mathematical reflection habits by filling in math diaries,correcting errors in homework,and making mind maps.
