With the deepening of the reform of the new history curriculum in senior high school,the philosophy of history teaching has also undergone great changes,from emphasizing the learning of knowledge to emphasizing the cultivation and improvement of students' learning ability and learning methods.Historical maps,which play an important role in the cultivation of students' learning ability,are very valuable course resources for development and utilization,especially in recent years when the proportion of historical maps in college entrance examination questions is increasing,the application research of historical maps in high school history teaching becomes more and more important.The thesis uses literature research,case analysis,questionnaire survey and other methods to study the problems existing in the teaching of high school history maps and related solutions,mainly in the form of investigation,and incorporate teaching cases in the process of analysis.Based on this,the research of the thesis is divided into the following parts: Firstly,it introduces the background of the research,the current research status at home and abroad,and the significance of carrying out the research;expounds the specific meaning of the historical map and the main categories of historical maps in the textbook.The characteristics of historical maps;secondly,it expresses the historical map resources in the current high school history textbooks and the significance of applying historical maps for teaching;points out the theoretical sources of historical map teaching;finally,the application of historical maps in high schools according to teaching practice A detailed investigation and research was carried out,and the problems existing in the teaching of current historical maps were analyzed according to the survey situation,namely: the explanation of the light result process,the cultivation of the ability to ignore the students' graphic maps,the single way of demonstrating the historical map,and the lack of interdisciplinary According to the practice survey,the strategy of applying historical maps in high school classrooms is proposed: improving the comprehensive quality of history teachers,changing teaching methods,focusing on interdisciplinary knowledge,and familiarizing with the teaching methods of middle school history maps.The summarization of these theories and practices can provide some methods and reference for the first-line high school history teachers to use historical maps for teaching.With the continuous advancement of teaching reform,historical maps will become more and more important in the history teaching of middle school.In addition,the integration of information technology and classroom teaching,future history teachers must constantly keep pace with the times in the process of teaching.The teaching concept teaches historical maps better.
