Biographies are closely related to history.Since the publication of "Historical Records",many Chinese and foreign historical biographies have provided us with rich historical resources for understanding the historical process.Therefore,some biographies written for a long time are often regarded as historical materials,which have important research significance for exploring the evolution and development of history at that time.In response to the tradition of emphasizing historical materials in high school history teaching and the requirements for history discipline since the reform of the new curriculum standard,applying the biographies of historical figures to high school history teaching can not only enhance students' interest in learning and help students acquire knowledge,but also Comprehensively enhance their historical cognitive ability,help students master the correct method of learning history,and promote the improvement of students' comprehensive quality.To use biographies of historical figures in the process of high school history teaching,we must first understand the concept of biographies of historical figures and summarize and interpret their objectivity and subjectivity.The application of biographies of historical figures in high school history teaching is also inseparable from the support of related theories.With the joint support of historical positivism theory,pedagogy theory and constructivism theory,this article can carry out the next step of research.The effective application of biographies of historical figures can optimize the effect of history classroom teaching.As a good historical teaching material,biographies of historical figures should and appropriately be used in high school history teaching.However,after sorting out and analyzing the questionnaire surveys of history teachers and students,it is found that students are generally willing to accept the relevant teaching of biographies of historical figures,but the ability to analyze and interpret the content of biographies is insufficient,and there is a problem when teachers use biographies of historical figures in teaching.Insufficient attention,unreasonable application methods and other issues.Based on the problems and reasons shown in the application of biographies of historical figures in high school history teaching in the survey,this article summarizes the biographies of historical figures in current textbooks that can be used for teaching,and adheres to the teaching concept of "student-oriented" combined with the new curriculum.The requirements of the standard,the selection of historical figures,the selection of historical materials,the principles and methods of application are discussed in detail.As a special historical material used in history teaching,biographies of historical figures should be selected from the content of the textbooks,and characters with typical,representative,positive energy and clear historical biographical materials should be selected,and appropriate teaching should be used.Methods to help students interpret and analyze the complex biographical historical materials of historical figures,and complete the cultivation and shaping of students' historical materialism in the process of teaching biographies of historical figures.It is hoped that through the thinking and exploration of the application of biographies of historical figures in this article,we can have a clearer understanding of the application of biographies of historical figures in high school history teaching,effectively improve the quality of classroom teaching,and promote the cultivation of students' correct historical outlook.
