Today in the 21 st century, international business and trade exchanges are increasingly frequent.Under the background of globalization,China has rapidly grown into the center of international trade.More and more foreigners come to China, choose to develop in China and settle down in China.Guangzhou, which is located in the manufacturing center of the Pearl River Delta in China, has been a very important trade center city in China since the late Qing Dynasty. In recent years, its position has become more and more obvious. In particular, the central government clearly proposed the construction of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao Bay area, which once again planted the wings for the development of Guangzhou. With its unique location advantage and market environment,Guangzhou has attracted many businessmen from the African continent. The number of African businessmen doing business in Guangzhou is increasing day by day.On the one hand,it improves the international level of the city, promotes the diversified development of the city, and also helps these cities to establish a wider connection with the outside world. On the other hand, because of the huge differences between the living habits, cultural traditions, language communication and other factors, the foreigners are more likely to trigger various potential winds with the local residents Risk.In such a social background, the author takes the Africans in Guangzhou as an example, from the perspective of social space theory,to study the social adaptation of the Africans in Guangzhou in different social spaces, and to explore how to promote the social adaptation of Africans in Guangzhou through the intervention of social work in social space practice.Africans in Guangzhou have different social adaptations in different social spaces.Among them, the social adaptation in economic space is the best, and the adaptation in other types of social space is not ideal. The factors that affect the social adaptation of Africans in Guangzhou are: the coupling of subjective motivation and spatial characteristics in pursuit of economic interests, and the maladjustment ofliving space and communication space, which are not only related to the ethnicity of Africans themselves, but also closely related to the separation of space and ethnic groups. In view of the problems existing in the process of social adaptation of African people in guangzhou, the author puts forward the following countermeasures for the intervention of social work in the process of social adaptation of African people in guangzhou based on what he has learned and the experience of internship in institutions.Community activities to promote the integration of different types of space; To enhance the adaptability of africans in all types of Spaces through integrated school services provided by social work institutions;Through social work advocacy, call on relevant government departments to coordinate space planning,to create a space for the integration of Chinese and foreign residents;Actively cultivate foreign volunteer resources in the community, assist africans to obtain community support, and guide africans to actively integrate into various Spaces; With the help of new media and other Internet tools,we will enhance the interaction and communication between Chinese and foreign residents, create an open and inclusive social space for foreign-related communities, and better promote the social adaptation and integration of African communities.
