With the progress of society,the way people read has also changed.The colorful images hit the reader's eyes and become a popular reading method for the public.With this opportunity,the number and style of illustrations in Chinese textbooks have also become richer.With the revision of textbooks,the quality is getting higher and higher.Illustrations are very important teaching resources.The reading method with pictures and texts can make the text content more vivid and interesting,thereby enhancing the enthusiasm of students to learn the text.However,in the actual junior high school Chinese class,the utilization rate of teaching material illustrations is still relatively low,and the value of teaching material illustrations has not been fully utilized.The main reason is that the junior middle school Chinese teachers do not correctly recognize the interactive relationship between the illustrations in the textbook and the content of the text.Therefore,from the perspective of the theory of graph-text relation,this thesis combines the features of illustration layout in junior middle school Chinese textbooks and the actual situation of the use of illustrations in junior middle school Chinese teaching,in-depth exploration of the application strategies of textbook illustrations in Chinese classroom.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First,in the introduction,the origin,purpose,significance,research review,and research methods of this thesis are explained.Then,it summarizes the theory of the relationship between pictures and text from the three aspects of the same poetry and painting,the mutual text and the tension between pictures and text.Next,in the second chapter,the paper first analyzes the features of the illustrations of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks in detail from the perspective of the theory of graphic relations;then it investigates and analyzes the status quo of the illustrations of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks in actual teaching.Through the questionnaire survey,the application of illustrations in junior middle school Chinese teaching and junior middle school students' language learning was investigated,and the current situation of the use of illustrations in textbooks in actual junior middle school Chinese teaching was summarized.Finally,from the perspective of the theory of graph-text relationship and combining with specific course examples,we will deeply explore the application strategies of the Chinese textbook illustrations of the junior middle school textbooks in the Chinese classroom teaching.
