Through student questionnaire survey and teacher interview,this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of the teaching of ancient poetry imagery in senior high schools,and finds that there are the following problems in the teaching of ancient poetry imagery in senior high schools.one is to go beyond the taste of poetry images,and to teach ancient poetry images from the perspective of examination.Second,the teachers have realized the importance of the teaching of imagery in ancient poetry,but they lack some aesthetic theoretical guidance.Thirdly,students' cognition of image is vague and their interpretation of the image of ancient poetry is simple.Fourth,students' ability to transfer and use the images of ancient poetry is weak.According to the existing problems,the following strategies are put forward: first,teachers should strengthen their understanding of the value of ancient poetry images;To carry out image teaching of ancient poetry and strengthen aesthetic analysis ability by grade;Secondly,students should strengthen their ability to interpret the emotional connotation of ancient poetry images.Enhance migration capacity;Explore the relevance of ancient poetry.In view of the teaching situation of ancient poetry imagery,this paper explores the teaching of ancient poetry by combining the three aspects of the theory of "beauty in imagery" : the aesthetic world of ancient poetry constructed by imagery,the aesthetic activities of ancient poetry driven by imagery,and the aesthetic pleasure of ancient poetry generated by imagery.In addition,it evaluates and reflects on the teaching of ancient poetry in high school from the perspective of the theory of "beauty in image".Based on the theory of "beauty in image",the author concludes that the theory of "beauty in image" provides theoretical guidance for teachers to conduct aesthetic analysis of ancient poetry.It can stimulate students' interest in ancient poetry,and promote their participation in learning,thinking and active learning.It also fills the classroom with productive and meaningful conversations.The deficiency is that the students' aesthetic experience is not profound enough,and the science students understand the images of ancient poetry from an objective and rational perspective due to the role of inertial thinking.
