STSE education is an acronym for the social environment of science and technology.It attaches importance to the connection between teaching and social living environment,and emphasizes the cultivation of students’ ability to use knowledge and skills.The application of STSE education concept in the teaching process of chemistry course reflects the characteristics of chemistry subject and meets the requirements of the general high school chemistry curriculum standard(2017 edition).Which points out that in the chemistry teaching in the curriculum goals,focus on social hot issues related to the chemical,recognize the importance of environmental protection and resource reasonable development,profound understanding the relationship between social and environmental chemical technology,strengthen the students’ social responsibility,develop students’ literacy.Therefore,STSE education concept is conducive to the implementation.The study of this topic has important reference value for high school chemistry teaching.First,on the basis of consulting a large number of literature,analyzes the research background and significance,combing the domestic and foreign research present situation,designed the research train of thought.Then,during the internship through the questionnaire method and interview method to understand STSE education in the application of high school chemistry teaching and the existing problems,and summarized the existing problems.At the same time,combining with the STSE education theoretical foundation for design based on STSE education idea of the high school chemistry teaching strategy to build knowledge scenes.however experiments to explore the strategies,such as select two parallel class to practice and study and implementation of STSE teaching and traditional teaching respectively.In the end,based on the students’ interviews,combining two semester final examination results,comparing two class teaching effect.The results show that the high school chemistry teaching based on the concept is better than the traditional.It can improve students’ core quality and cultivate their ability to understand social development.
