The specialized course of table tennis in physical education specialty is the cradle of cultivating the PE teachers in primary and secondary schools,and the training base of the PE teachers at the basic level of the country.With the development of national economy and the proposal of relevant policies,the position of physical education curriculum in primary and secondary school curriculum is becoming more and more important,which puts forward higher requirements for the education ability of physical education teachers,as well as for the development of the best basic table tennis project in primary and secondary schools in China.The purpose of this study is to improve the training quality of Table Tennis Specialized Courses in physical education,and to promote the consistency of training direction and social demand direction of Table Tennis Specialized Courses in physical education.From the perspective of ability training,this paper optimizes the table tennis specialized course of physical education major.The specialized course of table tennis in physical education specialty is the cradle of cultivating the PE teachers in primary and secondary schools,and the training base of the PE teachers at the basic level of the country.With the development of national economy and the proposal of relevant policies,the position of physical education curriculum in primary and secondary school curriculum is becoming more and more important,which puts forward higher requirements for the education ability of physical education teachers,as well as for the development of the best basic table tennis project in primary and secondary schools in China.The purpose of this study is to improve the training quality of Table Tennis Specialized Courses in physical education,and to promote the consistency of training direction and social demand direction of Table Tennis Specialized Courses in physical education.From the perspective of ability training,this paper optimizes the table tennis specialized course of physical education major.By using the method of literature and materials,this paper makes a concrete understanding of the standard of PE teachers,and then uses the method of questionnaire and SPSS mathematical statistics to obtain the current situation of the ability cultivation of the students in the table tennis specialized classes of the PE Majors in Chengdu Institute of PE and Shandong Institute of PE and the current situation of the ability demand of the employers.Then according to the current situation of ability training and the needs of employers,following the general rules of ability training from the perspective of ability training and combining the characteristics of table tennis project,the optimization scheme of table tennis specialized course is made.The results are as follows:(1)This research divides the ability standard of table tennis PE teachers into 9 first level ability indexes,such as PE teaching design ability,PE teaching practice ability,and 32 second level ability indexes under these 9 first level ability indexes.According to the investigation of the employing units,among the nine first-class ability indexes,the most important ones of the employing units are the PE Teachers’ PE teaching design ability,PE teaching practice ability and the ability to guide extracurricular PE activities.(2)After entering the position of PE teacher,there is still a certain gap between the ability performance of table tennis majors in Chengdu Institute of physical education and Shandong Institute of physical education in all aspects and the ability level expected by the employer.Among them,the lack of PE teaching design ability and PE teaching practice ability is the most obvious,which should be cultivated in the undergraduate course At the stage,we should optimize the table tennis specialized courses to strengthen the cultivation of these abilities.(3)Among the approaches to the development of teachers’ educational ability of front-line PE teachers,pre service teaching practice and teaching practice,their own teaching experience and reflection play an important role in the formation of PE Teachers’ various teaching abilities.At the same time,pre service theoretical knowledge learning and technical action learning,cooperation and communication with colleagues,also play a role in the formation of different teaching abilities Significant role.(4)It is the foundation of the formation of the education ability of table tennis physical education teachers that students master the theory knowledge,the level of technology and tactics,the reserve of technology and tactics teaching and training methods of table tennis.The teaching practice in the form of semi topic and special topic and the continuous summary and reflection are the important methods to form the students’ knowledge and skills into teaching ability.
