Volleyball is one of the most important(optional)courses in colleges and universities. It contains rich theoretical knowledge, complex technical movements and variable tactical cooperation.Due to the high technical movement requirements, students are not easy to structure their movements.Master, basic skills are low,and students' interest in volleyball is also greatly reduced. At present, most colleges and universities use conventional " traditional teaching methods " as the main teaching methods in volleyball teaching, resulting in a single teaching method. The teaching content cannot attract students' high attention and the teaching effect is not good;therefore, the development of college volleyball teaching is not optimistic, and its popularity and promotion are not high.In fact, volleyball is a collective project, which emphasizes the use of technical actions and tactical cooperation and teamwork. If it can help students master the highest volleyball skills in the shortest time, then the problem in the volleyball course is solved. The purpose of the "implicit teaching method" is to enable students to acquire the basic structure of volleyball skills under complex external conditions and changeable situations,so that students have a certain impression of the learned technical actions in the brain and complete the mastery of technical actions The support of technical actions is the motivation for students to practice, rather than passively learning to complete the final assessment. The empirical research on implicit teaching method at home and abroad shows that it is superior to the traditional teaching method in terms of improving the teaching effect, the enthusiasm of students in the classroom, and helping students master the teaching content. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to explore whether the implicit teaching method can effectively solve the problems existing in the development of volleyball option courses in colleges and universities, whether it can effectively improve the teaching effect, and provide new ideas for volleyball option courses in ordinary colleges.Contrastive analysis method, teaching experiment method, questionnaire survey method and literature data method are the main research methods of this article. Before the experiment, the experimental group and the control group are tested for multiple indicators(including special physical fitness test and basic technical evaluation of volleyball, basic technology compliance assessment)to ensure that the test indicators of the experimental group and the control group are not significant Differences, relevant data obtained after teaching experiments. After analyzing and comparing the data, the following main conclusions are drawn:1 In the teaching of volleyball optional courses in colleges and universities, theapplication of "implicit teaching method" can enable students to master the basic skills of volleyball in a shorter time, and improve the stability of students' mastering of sports skills through later games and exercises. There is no obvious help in improving the specific physical quality.2 In the teaching of volleyball elective courses in colleges and universities, the application of "implicit teaching method" can help to bring out the fun of volleyball, fully arouse the enthusiasm of students in the classroom, increase learning interest, and increase learning motivation.3 The use of "implicit teaching method" in college volleyball optional courses can effectively improve the teaching effect, which is more in line with the development of college volleyball teaching, and is conducive to the formation of a good campus volleyball culture in colleges and universities.
