Functional training,Since the Beijing Olympic Games,from the medical rehabilitation field to the competitive sports field,advanced scientific training ideas and training methods have gradually been recognized by domestic competitive sports workers and coaches.This has caused a certain impact on the traditional physical training of our country.In recent years,some excellent basketball teams in China have begun to apply functional training,and as men's basketball teams in colleges and universities,the concept of functionality is very strange to them.Therefore,functional training should develop to the grass-roots level and lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of competitive sports in China.In this paper,16 men's basketball players from Shanxi university were selected as experimental subjects by using the methods of literature,expert interviews,experiments,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.According to the purpose and competition requirement of Shanxi university men's basketball team physical training,12 weeks functional training was carried out,the methods and modes of functional training were studied,and a complete set of functional physical training program was designed.Finally,the risk assessment of sports injury,body shape,physical fitness and physical function were evaluated,and the athletes in different positions were evaluated.Research analysis and guidance,the final conclusions are as follows:(1)The average score of Shanxi university men's basketball team in FMS test increased from 14.38 to 17.69.Experiments show that functional training can significantly improve the physical coordination and symmetry of Shanxi university men's basketball team.The flexibility of ankle joint,thoracic vertebrae,shoulder joints and the stability of knee joints and cores are significantly improved,and the probability of sports injury is reduced.(2)In the aspect of body shape,after functional training,the chest circumference and hip circumference of guard,forward and center wereincreased.In the second test,the striker's Quetelet index was improved,indicating that the body's ability to fight increased.(3)In the aspect of physical quality,after functional training,the necessary sports qualities of basketball,such as explosive force,agility,speed,strength,endurance and so on,have been improved.(4)In the aspect of physical function,the quiet heart rate is reduced,the degree of exercise is increased,and the aerobic capacity is enhanced,and the stroke volume of the heart is increased.The highest heart rate,the average heart rate,the quiet heart rate,the immediate heart rate,and the 1 minute heart rate after exercise show a different degree of decrease,which indicates that the heart and lung function of the athlete is enhanced.
