As the sport of football continues to develop, the frequency and level of confrontation in university women’s football is increasing, and athletes need to be very fit in order to adapt to the demands of the game.As both students and athletes, female football team members in universities often participate in short-term training and competitions through organized training sessions before major competitions, and there is a characteristic of discontinuity between competitions.Following the regular cycle of physical training often takes a long time to achieve good physical fitness before the competition. Therefore, how to effectively improve physical fitness levels in a shorter training period,It is an urgent issue for female football teams in universities to solve.Research purpose: This study uses the plate cycle theory as a guide to develop and implement a two-stage physical fitness training programme for the Beijing Guoan Shoujian Women’s Football Team,to investigate its effect on the stage physical fitness training effect of the university women’s football team,to provide new methods and new ideas for the university women’s football team to effectively improve their physical fitness level within a short training period, and to make a reference basis for the improvement of the athletic ability of the university women’s football team in the future. The study was based on the literature.Research method: This study used literature, survey, experimental, mathematical and statistical methods and comparative analysis methods to develop and implement two phases of physical training programmes for the women’s football team of Beijing Guoan Shoujian College through concentrated and flat load phases. The training effects of the 18 athletes were compared and analysed between the two periods of regular training and the plate cycle theory, and between the concentrated load phase and the flat load phase during the training period. The results of the study:1.Under the guidance of plate cycle theory,a set of stage physical training programme was designed for the university women’s football team, which was divided into a 6-week concentrated load phase and a 6-week flat load phase.2.The training effect of Yo-Yo run performance during the regular training period was significantly improved(P < 0.05),while the performance of 30 m sprint and 5*25m folded run were not effectively improved(P > 0.05);the performance of the three tests of30 m sprint,5*25m folded run and Yo-Yo run were significantly improved during the intensive training period(P < 0.05).3.After a concentrated load stage of 6 weeks, the female football team members’ Yo Yo run and vertical jump performance showed a significant improvement(P<0.01),while their 30 meter sprint,5 * 25 meter turn back run,Illinois, and throw out of bounds performance showed a significant improvement(P<0.05).4.After a 6-week flat load stage, the female football team members showed significant improvement in their performance in the 5 * 25 meter turn back run,Illinois, vertical jump, and throw out of bounds(P<0.01),as well as in the 30 meter sprint and Yo Yo run(P<0.05).5.In terms of improving vertical vertical jump performance, the concentrated load phase was better than the flat load phase(P < 0.05),while there was no significant difference in the rest of the physical fitness test indicators(P > 0.05).Research finding:1.Under the plate cycle theory, both the concentrated load phase and the flat load phase can effectively improve the fitness level of the university women’s football team, and the concentrated load phase is better than the flat load phase in improving the vertical jump performance.2.The plate cycle theory can scientifically and effectively guide the university women’s football team to develop and implement a physical training programme, which can improve the fitness level of the university women’s football team in the short term.
