With the return of golf balls to the Olympics,domestic golf players have a record of success.Due to insufficient publicity of golf,unclear understanding of the nature of golf,coupled with problems such as poor management of some golf clubs,it has greatly affected the healthy development of golf in China.In2019,Chengdu’s golf clubs have only 5 of them from the original 12 to the current business.The sudden decrease in the number of golf clubs reflects the core problems of the club,such as illegal construction and poor management.The "diamond model" theory is used to analyze why a certain industry in a country has an advantage in international competition.This study uses the "Diamond Model" theory to try to build the core competition of Chengdu Golf Club from the four determinants of production factors,demand conditions,related and supporting industries,corporate strategy and peer competitors: opportunity and government: Force model.By consulting professional golf websites,literature,books,and using questionnaire surveys,the author understands the current situation of China’s golf clubs,especially the development status of Chengdu’s golf clubs.Through on-site visits to the staff and customers of Chengdu Golf Club,to understand the operation and management of the golf club.The collected questionnaire was analyzed by SPSS25.0 to draw conclusions,and a "diamond model" of Chengdu Golf Club was constructed.This model consists of 4 decisive factors and 2 influencing factors.The four decisive factors are land resources and water resources,business model,strategic structure and competition,golf real estate,tourism,manufacturing and service industries,demand conditions,and the two influencing factors are government and opportunities.Through research,it is found that the following problems exist in Chengdu Golf Club:(1)Factors of production: small winter passenger flow and lack of professional and technical personnel;(2)Demand conditions: small consumer groups,excessive consumption target market,and high consumer demand for clubs;(3)Related and supporting industries: the golf equipment manufacturing industry is in a blank state,the golf service quality is low,and the competition system is imperfect;(4)corporate strategy,structure,and peer competition: a single business model,employee training needs to be improved,and marketing The system is imperfect;(5)Government: The government’s support policy is not strong enough,and the policy is imperfect.This study also puts forward suggestions for improving the Chengdu Golf Club’s core competitiveness in the face of local competition in Sichuan and building the club.Chengdu Golf Club should make adjustments in the following five aspects:(1)Factors of production: join the Golf Union,reduce losses,introduce professional talents,and develop professional equipment;(2)Demand conditions: increase product types,stimulate consumer demand,and widen Consumer groups;(3)Relevant and supportive industries: Improve the local main golf industry,strengthen cooperation with Chengdu Tourism Bureau and various tourism agencies,and develop manufacturing and service industries;(4)Corporate strategy,structure,and competition: change business philosophy 3.Adjust the business model and expand the scope of youth enrollment;(5)Government: The government will increase support,implement and improve tax preferential policies,and the government will lead the construction of public golf courses.
