Through SAS anxiety self-assessment scale and peer relationship scale for children and adolescents, this paper selects some junior high school students in Chongqing,Sichuan,Guizhou and other places to investigate the peer relationship and anxiety inclination of junior high school students, and then through the relevant theory of painting therapy,it carries out phased art curriculum development for the problem of peer relationship anxiety tendency of junior high school students, and through actual teaching activities To explore the feasibility of the course in school education and the role of intervention in junior high school students' peer relationship problems and anxiety tendency,in order to promote the development of students' physical and mental health and the diversification of art courses. In this study, the specific operability of the art curriculum for the purpose of painting therapy was emphasized.Firstly,266 junior high school students(both urban and rural)from Chongqing,Sichuan and Guizhou were investigated by questionnaire to understand their peer relationship, anxiety tendency and the relationship between them.Survey data show that negative peer relationship will lead to the deterioration of anxiety, and anxiety will also react on students' peer relationship, forming a vicious circle.According to this actual situation, the author uses the "house tree person" test(HTP),the "squiggle drawing game test" and the "random painting","collaborative painting" and "painting safety island" in the non classical theme as the theoretical and practical research basis to carry out the phased development of painting therapy course. In the group research, the curriculum design of painting therapy is combined with the curriculum content specified in the art curriculum standard, which is divided into three stages to design the curriculum content. After that,47 students in a natural class were selected for teaching practice. To explore the feasibility of this course in school education,we mainly look at the intervention effect of the implementation of painting therapy course on junior high school students who have anxiety tendency due to peer relationship. In addition, one of the typical students was selected as the case study object to carry out 12 weeks of painting therapy activities, and more in-depth and detailed observation was made to explore the practical role of the course for students with peer relationship anxiety. It is found that there are significant differences between students with peer relationship anxiety tendency and students with good interpersonal relationship and no anxiety phenomenon in the emotional state, creative thinking and the final picture effect of painting therapy. The combination of painting therapy theory and school curriculum is feasible.By comparing the data of scale test before and after the implementation of painting therapy course,we can find that painting therapy can help students express their emotions, alleviate their anxiety and guide their peer relationship.
