In the new era,value education has become the most important content of the Chinese education system.The party and the state issued a series of documents and reports,calling for "Building Virtue and Developing People" as the fundamental task of education,requiring the coordination of various disciplines,especially moral education and Chinese,to give full play to the unique educational advantages of humanities,and to promote the core of socialism Values enter the textbooks,the classroom,and the students’ minds.Chinese education,with its unique characteristics,shoulders the responsibility of inheriting culture and cultivating students’ correct values.Chinese textbooks are important text carriers of Chinese education,and inheriting and cultivating socialist core values have naturally become important missions of Chinese textbooks.The junior high school stage belongs to the basic education stage.Junior high school students are in the golden age of physical and mental development.This period is a crucial period for students to establish correct values,and we must fully grasp and use this period.The junior middle school Chinese textbooks came into being under this background.Since 2012,the Ministry of Education has officially launched the compilation of the Ministry of Education’s edition of Chinese textbooks nationwide.By 2018,the Ministry of Education’s edition of the junior high school Chinese textbooks has begun to be used for a total of nearly six years.In order to optimize the role of the language discipline in promoting the education of socialist core values,this study starts with the edition of junior middle school Chinese textbooks,and uses text analysis to study the present status and characteristics of socialist core values in the book.Suggestions for improvement.This thesis mainly discusses from the following four aspects.The first part is the related theory about the education of socialist core values,textbooks,and the combination of textbooks and education of socialist core values,and this serves as the theoretical basis for this research.The second part is to analyze the present situation of the core values of socialism in the junior high school Chinese textbooks edited by the Ministry.Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the core values of socialism in the reading section and comprehensive learning section according to the established analysis dimensions.In the reading section,the following three aspects were discovered through analysis.In terms of content organization:(1)Judging from the total number of selected essays,we attach great importance to the organic integration of socialist core values education in the language discipline;(2)From the perspective of overall distribution,the socialist core values at the national,social and civic levels are different Distribution,the socialist core values of each grade are continuously distributed;(3)From the specific distribution point of view,the socialist core values are differently distributed within the national level,within the social level,and within the citizen level.The values of socialist core values within the civic level are continuously distributed;the 12 elements of socialist core values are distributed differently.In terms of content selection:(1)the classics of the selected content are highlighted;(2)the content of the selected content is highlighted in the times;(3)the humanistic characteristics of the selected content are highlighted;(4)the subject characteristics of the selected content are highlighted.In terms of teaching guidance:teaching guidance is good.In the comprehensive learning section,the following four aspects were discovered through analysis.In terms of content organization:(1)attaches great importance to the cultivation of socialist core values in comprehensive learning;(2)the socialist core values at the national,social and civic levels are distributed differently.In terms of content selection:(1)classicism,times and humanity are highlighted;(2)subject characteristics are highlighted.In terms of teaching guidance,teaching guidance is good.In terms of teaching relevance,the teaching activities and methods are designed in detail and comprehensively.The third part is to analyze the characteristics of the socialist core values in the Chinese textbook of the junior high school edited by the Ministry.Its characteristics mainly include the following four aspects:(1)in content organization,the frequency of presentation is different,and there is a systematic lack of value perspective organization;(2)in content selection,the combination of classicity and modernity,the humanistic characteristics are obvious;(3)teacher teaching The guidance of law and the guidance of students in learning the law are clear;(4)The value education method emphasizes both text penetration and activity infiltration.The fourth part is the research conclusion and suggestions for the improvement of teaching materials.There are four main suggestions for improvement:(1)systematically organize the contents of various values and views;(2)reasonably take care of the proportion of values presented at all levels;(3)do the guidance of thepedagogy of teachers and the guidance of the students’ pedagogy;(4)adhere to and improve the value education method of text penetration and activities.
