Excellent middle school biology teachers refer to outstanding teachers with advanced concepts,solid foundation,innovative thinking,and the ability to adapt and lead the reform of middle school biology teaching.With the increasing development of China's education,creating a group of high-quality primary and secondary school teachers in line with the background of the new era,with educational feelings,solid knowledge,and innovative thinking has become a hot topic in educational research.In recent years,scholars at home and abroad have conducted research on the professional characteristics and training programs of excellent middle school biology teachers,but there are few studies on factors affecting the growth of excellent middle school biology teachers.Therefore,on the basis of previous researches,this paper takes why excellence as the starting point,and the excellent middle school biology teachers as the research object,and further explores the personal characteristics of the excellent middle school biology teachers and the laws and ways in the development process of the excellent middle school biology teachers,and finally draws Factors affecting the growth of outstanding middle school biology teachers.The purpose of this study is to provide a scientific basis for professional growth for the training of ordinary middle school biology teachers and normal school students.In the early stage of the study,the questionnaire was used to understand the growth process and specific methods of excellent middle school biology teachers.From the questionnaire results,it was concluded that the key period for the professional growth of most excellent middle school biology teachers is 1-6 years after entry;The major teaching research and activities include teaching competitions,teaching training,and cooperation and exchange with excellent peers;the key to the growth of excellent middle school biology teachers is excellent peers;in the process of cooperation and flow with excellent peers,listen to the class and observe And group lesson preparation is the most helpful way for the growth of excellent middle school biology teachers;and the excellent middle school biology teachers often carry out biological experiments,comprehensive practice and making teaching aids and other activities to arouse students' interest in learning.By analyzing and sorting out the questionnaires and interview results of excellent middle school biology teachers,it is concluded that the factors affecting the growth of excellent middle school biology teachers can be divided into internal and external aspects,namely internal factors and external factors.The internal factors are teaching ability,PCK ability and learning ability;the external factors are teaching competition,teaching training and teaching research.Teaching ability,PCK ability and learning ability provide prerequisites for teaching competitions,teaching training and teaching research;while teaching competition,teaching training and teaching research can improve the teaching ability,PCK ability and learning ability of excellent middle school biology teachers.Therefore,the professional growth of the biology teacher of the excellent middle school is formed under the combined action of internal and external factors;this study analyzes the key events in the process of the professional growth of the biology teacher of the excellent middle school,and mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)A firm goal is one of the main traits of excellent middle school biology teachers to achieve rapid professional growth;(2)Emotional education,caring for students is the core content of the development of excellent middle school biology teachers;(3)Lifelong learning and continuous self-development are important factors for the rapid professional growth of excellent middle school biology teachers;(4)Connect with life and innovate teaching is an effective way for outstanding middle school biology teachers to grow professionally;(5)The combination of teaching and research is the key factor to promote middle school biology teachers from backbone teachers to excellent teachers.
