The teaching design of cultivating students' scientific inquiry literacy based on the "5E" teaching mode refers to the teaching program developed by using the "5E" teaching mode to cultivate students' scientific inquiry literacy.Here,Engagement,Exploration,Explanation,Elaboration,and Evaluation,having five steps,is called the "5E" teaching mode;scientific inquiry literacy refers to students' ability to ask questions,collect valid evidence,interpret conclusions based on evidence,and communicate.This research is intended to explore the way to resolve the problem of students' weak scientific inquiry literacy and provide front-line physics teachers with some teaching references.The main work of this research are as follows: firstly,the research results of "5E" teaching model were investigated by literature research and the research results of domestic and foreign educational experts and scholars were absorbed.Secondly,combining relevant educational theories,the principles,links and evaluation of the teaching design of cultivating students' scientific inquiry literacy based on the "5E" teaching mode were formulated,and according to the research of educational evaluation theory,"formative evaluation table of teaching design of cultivating students' scientific inquiry literacy based on the " 5E " teaching mode" was compiled.Then,taking compulsory Physics 1 in Senior High School of People's Education Edition as an example,three teaching design cases of cultivating students' scientific inquiry literacy based on "5E" teaching mode were designed,and through the case study method,the evaluators were asked to evaluate the teaching design cases in conjunction with the formative evaluation table developed by this research.By combining the author's self-evaluation and the evaluators' evaluation,the evaluation result of the teaching design cases was formed.Finally,summary,reflection and outlook were given.The evaluation of the design cases shows that the teaching design cases of cultivating students' scientific inquiry literacy based on the "5E" teaching mode have high feasibility,applicability and effectiveness.
