In today's information age,with the rapid development with each passing day,the demand for talents tends to have comprehensive quality talents who are creative and can solve practical problems.Education as the foundation of rejuvenating the country,sub-subject teaching can no longer meet the needs of cultivating students' comprehensive ability.At the level of art education in compulsory education,modern education puts forward new requirements for art education.The traditional teaching mode of painting,handmaking and art common sense memory can not support the development of talents in the future.The trend of diversified teaching demand for art education has appeared.art knowledge and other subject knowledge infiltrate and integrate with each other,so as to cultivate students' ability to actively acquire knowledge to inspire thinking and practice,and improve their comprehensive quality.it will lead the new trend of art education.For this reason,STEAM education theory arises at the historic moment.The education theory of steam is composed of science,technology,engineering,arts and mathematics in sequence,that is,the education theory integrating science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics.As an interdisciplinary concept of education,this educational theory encourages students to develop and improve in the fields of science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics,and cultivates students' creativity,communication ability,problem-solving ability and cooperation ability,so as to optimize and maximize the integration effect.In this paper,literature,data analysis and induction,investigation,comparative analysis,design and research.The author integrates philosophy into steam education theory,and takes Ganmei edition of Jiangsu Fine Arts Publishing House junior high school textbook as the model,and designs the overall design of middle school fine arts classroom teaching.This paper puts forward three teaching models: subject integration,modern information technology and situational activity,and puts forward learning objectives and activity suggestions according to the teaching contents in different teaching models.In the aspect of curriculum evaluation,it puts forward some suggestions for teaching evaluation.Junior high school students are in the critical period of learning ability and aesthetic formation,and the theory of STEAM education is applied as a guiding ideology in junior high school art education,in the process of understanding the relationship between art and other subjects,between human and nature,between human and society,students should be guided to explore the truth of the world,and to put artistic thinking through the whole process of initial experience,planning and conception,and communication of works.Cultivate junior high school students' communication and coordination ability,integrated development ability,comprehensive practical ability.To improve the core quality of students,to become a core competitive talent,to accelerate the pace of innovation and practice of China's education reform.
