In the year of 2017,the Ministry of Education revised the curriculum of ordinary high schools,which further clarified the content of music curriculum in ordinary high schools.In addition to the planned compulsory courses,12 music teaching modules including selective compulsory courses and elective courses were added.The year 2003 witnessed the introduction and initial construction of the module concept and the year 2017 witnessed the enrichment of modules.Over these years,music teaching by means of module courses has been implemented in high schools for a long time.With the further confirmation and expansion of music module courses in the new curriculum standard,some problems will be appeared in the process of setting courses and teaching in high schools.At present,the research of music teaching in high schools mainly focuses on teaching methods,strategies and suggestions on appreciation teaching.However,the problems that high school student do not pay attention to music courses and music modules are not set up correctly still have not been solved well.Therefore,this paper aims to investigate the situation of music module setting,teachers' teaching methods,the use of music materials,students' music foundation and learning attitude in Baise high schools in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,which is going to understand the current situation of music teaching in Baise from different views.Meanwhile,this paper hopes to provide inspiration and help for Baise high school music teachers to implement each module.There are six parts in the paper:The first part is brief introduction,which involves five aspects,namely the origin and background of the research,the aim and meaning of the topic,literature review,research object and research methods.The second part is about the basic questions arisen in the construction of new curriculum module in ordinary high school.First,this part is going to analyse the basic concept and development of the construction of new curriculum module in ordinary high school.Then,combined with the relevant requirements of the 2017 edition standard music module teaching of music curriculum in ordinary high school,this part is going to analyse the basic idea,content,characteristics and foundation for its establishment.The third part is the investigation of current situation of music teaching in three high schools in Baise under new curriculum standard.The author summarizes and analyze the problems that appears in the questionnaire survey to music teachers and students,as well as relevant interviews to teachers.The fourth part is the analysis of the current situation of music teaching in high school under new curriculum standard,which mainly analyze two factors---the subjective elements of teachers and other objective elements.This part summarizes and figures out the reasons for teaching problems that appears in music module in three high schools in BaiseThe fifth part involves of strategies and suggestions for implementing music modules smoothly under new curriculum standard.The strategies and suggestions are proposed from the perspective of teachers,parents and students.The author hopes that theses suggestions and strategies can bring a positive effect on the implement of music modules.The sixth part is the conclusion of this paper,which summarizes the research contents and relevant suggestions.What's more,this part also proposes the future of music module teaching in high school.
