Nowadays,the issues of the economy remain hotly concerned all over the world.Obviously,our traditional culture is facing challenges beyond our expectations.In response to this outstanding issue,our country has taken a large amount of positive methods to solve these problems.Also in 2019,our leaders of the education system,in response to the proposal of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC on "promoting cultural self-confidence among all our school kids",said " We have got to promote the art teaching method of our traditional culture among all the primary and secondary school ",said as well "The cover of the unified language textbook selects traditional cultural topics close to children's lives……and arrange the child as the main character of the picture so that they become participants and practitioners of traditional culture".In fact,not only limit to the language textbooks' cover,but also in our art classes,and also in our art teaching among all the primary and secondary schools,it is of great importance to "let students become the protagonists of the picture" and let them be leading actors of traditional culture."To make our kids to be the most important persons of our pictures" is the pedagogy that focuses on students' practice experience.To alter the traditional pedagogy,we should be able to change ourselves.The one that command should serve,we should try our best to guide them to think independently and do something as creatively as possible,and form a learning system that's complete;according to the students' development stage and experience,the students' thinking is dispersed,the students' horizons of learning are broadened,the students' ability to seek knowledge,exploration and questioning is cultivated,and dialectical thinking is formed,and it is applied flexibly to the real situation,so that it can enhance the capacity of the kids to face the difficulties and solve problems by themselves.Based on the requirements of carrying forward the self-confidence of traditional culture and the current situation of art appreciation teaching in high school,this paper takes Chinese paintings as the key point,and it(let students become the main characters of the picture)run through the process of fine art appreciation.It can help kids to form a habit of appreciating truth and beauty.Besides,it can also make them to be a person with the artistic eye.This study is divided into seven chapters,the first introduction part,introduced the research background,significance,writing ideas and research overview.And then the chapter analyzes the aesthetic value of Chinese figure painting.Part two expounds the value of the society.The third chapter makes clear about the present teaching situation of traditional character painting in the art appreciation course of high school.The next part reminds us of the rules of the appreciation.The fifth chapter is to discuss the teaching tactics of appreciation of traditional Chinese character painting.Chapter 6,designed a specific teaching case.In a word,this paper attempts to improve students' understanding of Chinese traditional character painting through the appreciation teaching of traditional Chinese character painting,thereby enriching their aesthetic experience knowledge,enhancing their aesthetic quality,stimulating their enthusiasm for learning,cultivating their keen perception.And also I hope to provide a reference idea for high school appreciation teaching activities.
