This article takes the first,second,and third grade students of Anuban Sikhoraphum School in Thailand as the research object,combined with their own teaching experience,using the literature research method,natural observation method,experience method and comparative analysis method as the research method,and constructivist theory and The recent development zone theory is used as the theoretical basis to analyze the compatibility of thematic teaching model with elementary school vocabulary teaching methods,students' characteristics,and vocabulary teaching content,and demonstrate the feasibility of applying the subject-based teaching model to vocabulary teaching in primary schools in Thailand.And combined with teaching practice to carry out specific teaching design,through three aspects of performance test,classroom observation and teacher's own teaching evaluation to evaluate and reflect on the teaching effect of the theme-based teaching model applied to the Chinese vocabulary class in Thai primary schools.Finally,the advantages and disadvantages of the topic-based teaching model applied to the Chinese vocabulary class in Thai primary schools are summarized,and corresponding suggestions are put forward for the disadvantages.The following conclusions are drawn through the research: The subject-based teaching model is practical and feasible to apply to Thai elementary school Chinese vocabulary teaching,and can help Thai elementary school students improve their Chinese proficiency.It is hoped that in the future Chinese teachers will fully integrate the characteristics of students in the selection of topic vocabulary and topic activities in the teaching process;pay more attention to the explanation of the super outline vocabulary,and the explanation of the super outline vocabulary should be strategic and appropriate;cannot ignore the reading and writing skills Develop,taking into account the four skills of listening,speaking,reading,and writing;monitor the progress of teaching;control the order of the classroom.I hope these suggestions can provide Chinese teachers with new teaching ideas in vocabulary teaching.
