The PBL teaching mode under the network environment(Web-Problem-Based Learning),referred to as WPBL teaching model.That is,under the support of the network teaching environment and teaching resources,the students are the main body and the problem is the center.The teacher makes less explanation on the teaching content,and under the guidance of the teacher,students cooperate more often with others on collecting materials,Analyzing problems,conducting explorations spontaneously,so as to achieve a teaching model that solves problems,learns knowledge,and improves oneself.The WPBL teaching model,which originally pioneered by a medical professor in the United States,was mainly used in the field of medical education at that time.Students who have gone through this mode of learning have greatly improved their interest in study.Furthermore,their learning ability has been substantially enhanced,and the teaching goal have been achieved satisfactorily in the actual teaching process.This thesis sorts out and analyzes related concepts such as WPBL teaching mode.Three secondary vocational colleges in RI Zhao City were selected for preliminary investigation and research,and the feasible conclusion of WPBL teaching mode for teaching in secondary vocational colleges is reached.Based on the obtained relevant data and information,the five major process elements of the WPBL teaching model are used as the framework to formulate corresponding application research programs.The program was applied in a secondary vocational college in RI Zhao for a half-year teaching experiment.Two tourism classes of2020 were engaged in the program.One class was an experimental class which was taught according to the WPBL teaching model,and the other class was taught in traditional teaching model.By doing research and obtaining research data through classroom observations and interviews before,during and after experiment,and final exam at the end of the semester,the effectiveness of the WPBL teaching model in the tourism class of secondary vocational colleges was verified and the effect of the teaching model on students and teachers could thus be analyzed.Then phenomena and problems that emerged during the experiment was demonstrated,analyzed and improved.The conclusion data on this specific research showed that: The practical application of WPBL teaching mode in the tourism professional courses of secondary vocational colleges was completely feasible.After one semester of teaching experiments,the academic and classroom performance that students showed in the WPBL experimental class have greatly improved compared to the control class.The WPBL teaching model can arouse secondary vocational students' interest in learning tourism professional courses,and improve students' attention on classes.Through the creation of the problem situation about tourism-related knowledge,the selection of meaningful practical problems,and the use of convenient Internet resources,students were guided to study and think,and thus their motivation on learning were excited.Besides,their ability on discover,analyze,and solve problems and the sense of teamwork were cultivated,and also enhance students' communication skills.In addition,the WPBL teaching model also has a good effect on the development of secondary vocational teachers.Through the use of this teaching model,teachers can innovate their own teaching ideas,enrich their own knowledge reserves,improve their own teaching capabilities,and also enhance their own scientific research capabilities and promote teachers' lifelong learning.At the same time,the application of this teaching model can enrich the existing teaching models of secondary vocational schools and bring new development and new impetus to the diversification of vocational schools' teaching models.In summary,using the WPBL teaching model to enter the secondary vocational classroom teaching can enhance the secondary vocational classroom teaching effect,increase students' interest in learning and students' thinking,and enhance the teaching ability of teachers.It is a meaningful teaching exploration and attempt.
