Due to the difference between ancient and modern languages,ancient poems are difficult for primary school students to learn from memory.The illustrations of ancient poems in the textbooks,with a sense of picture,are just an existing resource for students to learn and understand ancient poems.How to better use the ancient poetry illustrations in the textbooks for teaching is worth studying.However,the unique function of ancient poetry illustrations has not attracted more teachers' attention,nor has it fully exerted its due value.Therefore,this article takes the ancient poetry illustrations in the Chinese textbooks for primary school as the research object,mainly uses content analysis and interview methods,through the analysis of the current situation of the ancient poetry illustrations in the textbooks,understands the current situation of teachers' use of ancient poetry illustrations,summarizes the existing problems,and finally puts forward suggestions for optimizing the arrangement of ancient poetry illustrations and teaching use.The first content of this paper is to analyze the current situation of the ancient poetry illustrations in the Chinese textbooks of the unified edition of the primary school.It mainly analyzes the number,content and color of the ancient poetry illustrations from three dimensions,and summarizes the characteristics and problems of the illustrations.The second research content is to investigate and analyze the current situation of teachers using ancient poetry illustrations,and analyze the problems in their use.The third research content is to put forward suggestions for optimizing the arrangement of illustrations of ancient poems and the use by teachers in view of the problems existing in the arrangement of illustrations of ancient poems and the use of teachers.Draw the following conclusions through analysis:1.In terms of quantity,as the grade increases,the proportion of corresponding illustration designs will decrease.However,among the eleven ancient poems without illustrations,ten of them are ancient poems in model essays that need to be elaborated,while only one ancient poem in the Chinese Garden is without illustrations.2.From the content point of view,the ancient poetry illustrations in the textbook are both rich in pictures and texts,and the painting style is rich in ancient rhyme.It highlights the unique aesthetics.It can highlight the theme of the ancient poems and help students understand the general meaning of the article.Ancient poetry illustrations emphasize the embodiment of traditional culture and promote the beauty of culture.However,some illustrations have inconsistencies in graphics and text.For example,the content of the illustrations is missing,the content of the illustrations is incorrect,and the content of the illustrations has nothing to do with the content of ancient poems,etc.3.From the color point of view,the ancient poetry illustrations in the textbooks are mainly Chinese paintings.The colors are fresh and elegant,and the brush and ink are intertwined.The cold and warm tones of the pictures are more conducive to the expression of the artistic conception of the ancient poetry.However,the tone of some illustrations is inconsistent with the artistic conception expressed in ancient poems.4.Through interviews,it is found that there are three main problems when teachers use ancient poetry illustrations for teaching.One is the low level of teachers' awareness of the illustrations of ancient poems,including the overall understanding of the illustrations,the traditional cultural elements contained in the illustrations,and the unclear understanding of the educational functions of the illustrations.The second is there is a singleness in teachers' use of ancient poetry illustrations,including the singleness of the links used,the singleness of the teaching content and the singleness of the methods used.Third,there is a certain degree of blindness in the way teachers use ancient poetry illustrations.5.Through the arrangement and analysis of the illustrations of ancient poems in the textbook,two suggestions are put forward for its shortcomings.One is to enrich the number of illustrations of ancient poems in teaching materials,and the other is to follow certain principles in the design of illustrations.Through the analysis of the current situation of the use of ancient poetry illustrations,aiming at the existing problems when teachers use illustrations for teaching,combined with the arrangement of ancient poetry illustrations,two suggestions are put forward to optimize teachers' use of ancient poem illustrations for teaching.One is that teachers should improve their understanding of illustrations in ancient poems and clarify the educational value of illustrations.The second is that teachers should learn to use illustrations rationally,truly give play to the educational value of illustrations,enrich the use of illustrations,and use illustrations to cultivate students' creative expression ability,aesthetic ability,and promote the beauty of traditional culture.This article is an exploration of ancient poetry illustrations and their use under the background of the unified edition of primary school Chinese textbooks that greatly increase the content of traditional culture.Due to its limited ability,the analysis of the arrangement of ancient poetry illustrations in the textbook and the understanding of the current situation of teachers using ancient poetry illustrations in this text need to be further deepened.In the future,the author will continue to explore the educational value of ancient poem illustrations in teaching materials,and select more samples to investigate the current situation of teachers using ancient poem illustrations in teaching,in order to arouse more teachers' attention to ancient poem illustrations,and use them in teaching reasonably to promote teaching.
