Reading prose helps students feel the unique beauty of prose language and words,and helps them enrich their life experience and gain life enlightenment.In the unified middle school language textbook,there are 32 pieces of modern prose,accounting for50.79% of modern literature.In junior high school,modern prose is one of the main genres students learning.Through prose teaching,teachers need to help students discover the pleasure of reading prose and master the methods of reading prose,so as to help them learn to read prose,especially to taste the unique verbal forms and experience the unique emotional connotations in specific pieces.It discusses the teaching strategies of modern prose reading in junior high school according to the theory of neuroaesthetics and the theory of “speech,image and meaning”,combining the stylistic characteristics of prose and the reading characteristics of students.The introductory section describes the origin of the study,the current status of the study,the significance of the study,and the research methods,discussing the significance of modern prose reading teaching in junior high school and the main problems existing in modern prose reading teaching in junior high school.In the second part,through questionnaire survey and classroom observation,it further investigates the problem that students have difficulty in tasting the unique flavor of words and experiencing the author's unique emotional connotation in middle school modern prose reading teaching.The third part elaborates the concept of “words” and “imagination”transformation,and discusses the basis and function of “words” and “imagination”transformation in middle school modern prose reading teaching.In the fourth part,it proposes five teaching strategies for the conversion of “words” and “imagination”,including focusing on the text to create the situation,chewing the words to perceive the imagination,linking the schema to interpret the prose,transforming “words” and“imagination” cyclical and reading proses describing the same subject together.The concluding part summarizes the findings.
