Since the Industrial Revolution,population growth and the abuse of science and technology have made the global resource and environmental problems serious and hindered the sustainable development of human society.Ecological civilization is a new stage in the development of human civilization.my country adheres to the path of civilization development.Strengthening the cultivation of high school students' ecological civilization education is an important aspect of achieving the development of ecological civilization.Education is the cornerstone of the construction of ecological civilization.Geography courses can guide students to think about problems from the perspective of ecological civilization,cultivate students' awareness and emotional will of ecological civilization,and enable students to gradually form the concept of human-land coordination and sustainable development.Geographically literate citizens lay the foundation.First of all,this article uses the literature method to comb and explore the current ecological civilization education,and clarify the core concept of ecological civilization education.On this basis,the questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the current situation of ecological civilization education in Yongcheng Senior High School teachers and students from different dimensions,and the problems and causes of the current situation were obtained,and then improvement countermeasures were put forward.The conclusions of this research are:1.Investigate the status quo of the ecological civilization education of teachers and students in Yongcheng High School from different dimensions,count and analyze the survey results of teachers and students,and provide data support for subsequent analysis.2.It is concluded that the problems of ecological civilization education in Yongcheng senior high school geography teaching are:teachers do not have enough professional knowledge of textbooks;teachers' enthusiasm for learning ecological civilization needs to be improved;schools and teacher education emphasize knowledge rather than quality.The main reasons for the problems are: schools emphasize academic performance but not interest guidance;student learning emphasizes knowledge and ignores understanding;teaching methods focus on knowledge inculcation rather than practice.3.According to the causes of the problems,countermeasures are proposed from three aspects: in classroom teaching,expand the content suitable for ecological civilization education in teaching materials;collect environmental issues and enrich the geography classroom;innovate teaching methods to create ecological classrooms;use local resources,Cultivate the concept of ecological civilization.In the extracurricular practical activities,carry out special lectures on ecological civilization;carry out environmental protection theme class meetings;organize geography research travel practical activities;expand the content of the "activity" section of the textbook.In terms of improving concepts,schools should fully understand the significance of ecological civilization;teachers' teaching concepts must be appropriately changed;and focus on cultivating students' sense of responsibility for ecological civilization.The above research can provide certain reference value for improving ecological civilization education in senior high school geography teaching.
