A country without national defense can not be well established in the world,the people can not survive safely without national defense accomplishment.National Defense is not only a firm force to maintain the security and stability of a country,but also a solid guarantee for the survival and development of a nation.Since the 21st century,the global national security situation has been changing,and China is also facing a series of crises and challenges,the only way to achieve national defense is to carry out national defense education to the people at every stage,and the national defense education of young students is especially important.Providing appropriate national defense education for young people is related to the ability to reserve talents for the national defense cause,it s a matter of national security.For a long time,the national defense education in middle schools in China has been characterized by its single form,simple content and weak teachers.The implementation of national defense education in history teaching has unique advantages.From the content point of view,history courses cover many fields such as politics,economy,culture,military affairs,education,etc.,from the perspective of educational objectives,the goal of history education is to cultivate students high sense of identity,belonging,responsibility and mission to the country,in general,the history classroom can be a good platform for national defense education,which is in line with the goal of national defense education to improve the quality of national defense,rally national strength,and realize the ideal of Chinese Dream.Therefore,the content of this paper is: How to effectively implement national defense education in history teaching.The research idea of this paper is: to demonstrate the necessity of the implementation of national defense education from the perspectives of national development,student development and history subject development;A questionnaire survey and an interview on national defense education were conducted in the Middle School of Nanhai Experimental School,and the curriculum and activities related to national defense education carried out by the school were summarized,this paper analyzes the current situation and possible problems in the implementation of national defense education in middle schools,and analyzes the favorable conditions for the implementation of national defense education from the aspects of teaching materials,teaching resources and state policies,and in the light of specific situations,from the angles of society,education managers,teachers and students,the corresponding training strategies are put forward,that is,the social defense units should facilitate the national defense education as much as possible,and the social media should strengthen the national defense education propaganda Teaching administrators should improve their awareness of national defense education,provide sufficient material support for schools to carry out national defense education,and formulate relevant management strategies to supervise the implementation of national defense education in schools;history teachers should not only strengthen their awareness of national defense,we should also carefully study teaching materials,fully exploit the contents of national defense education,make good use of all kinds of national defense education resources,and pay attention to national defense hotspots in society,so as to enrich the forms and contents of national defense education in history teaching,in addition,middle school students should pay close attention to social life by following the necessary educational principles and skillfully using the methods of inquiry and discussion and situational teaching to raise their awareness of national defense,actively participate in the national defense education carried out by schools,and constantly improve their national defense accomplishment.
