With the development of my country's economy and the introduction of protective policies for the migration of the migrant population,the size of urban migrant children has become larger and larger.At the same time,due to changes in the living environment,migrant children are prone to psychological problems such as low self-identity,lack of interpersonal communication,and low social integration,and it is difficult to obtain sufficient emotional support from different groups.It is afraid that these problems are important source.Therefore,it is particularly important to use social work methods and technologies to help migrant children obtain more adequate emotional support from their parents,peers,and other groups.It is particularly important to establish an emotional support network.This research uses self-made questionnaires and oral interviews to investigate the current situation of migrant children's emotional support in the city,analyzes their needs,and lays the foundation for the design of practical solutions to improve emotional support for urban migrant children.The results show that the emotional support of migrant children in the GM community has problems such as insufficient initiative to seek support,a small range of sources of support and help,and low quality of emotional support;further analysis shows that the emotional support of migrant children has the following needs: Support initiative,learn necessary emotional communication and expression skills,improve the quality of emotional support,build an emotional support network,and strengthen the continuity of emotional support.Secondly,in response to the above-mentioned current situation and needs,this research is guided by social support theory and ecosystem theory to formulate group work plans,carry out group work practices,and improve the emotional support level of urban left-behind children.Recruiting and screening 10 eligible migrant children to form the G emotional support group,and carried out six activities including "First Understanding the Emotional World","Emotional Interaction and Support Skills","Diverse Emotional Support",and "Proactively Seeking Support".In order to improve the initiative of left-behind children's emotional communication,promote their emotional expression ability,improve emotional quality,build an emotional support network composed of parents,peers,etc.,so that the emotional support they obtain is multi-source and multi-level.Third,use questionnaire survey method and unstructured interview method to evaluate the effectiveness of the team's work.The results show that through the development of emotional support group activities,the initiative of migrant children to seek support and help has been improved,the quality of emotional support has been improved,the expression ability of emotional support has been improved,and a certain emotional support network has been established.Finally,the study found that the group work method of group work is effective in solving the emotional support of urban migrant children and meets the needs of migrant children's emotional support.It also proposes a long-term mechanism for forming emotional support services for migrant children.
