Since the 1980s,large-scale rural populations have flooded into cities to seek livelihood development, and gradually formed a trend of "family-based" migration. This trend has led to a sharp rise in the number of migrant children in cities, thus forming a unique vulnerable group in China——Mobile children. They came from a relatively backward rural area to a prosperous metropolis and faced serious social adaptation problems. As a crucial aspect of social adaptation, emotional management has drawn more and more attention from all walks of life.According to the existing research data, migrant children have defects in emotional management. Most migrant children have bad emotional problems such as irritability, low self-esteem,anxiety,depression and sensitivity. For social workers, how to use social work methods to solve the emotional management problems of migrant children is urgently needed to be explored. This article takes the growing group of mobile children's emotional management as an example.Using interviews, observations, questionnaires and other research methods, based on the theory of emotional intelligence and group dynamics, using group work methods for migrant children.Emotional management intervenes, and studies and evaluates group processes and outcomes. It is hoped that the advantages of group work in emotional management will be established and recommendations for reference will be made for future researchers and frontline social workers.Through the theoretical and practical research, the following three conclusions can be drawn:Firstly, the group work has obvious effectiveness in improving the emotional management ability of migrant children. The results showed that most of the members'emotional management ability was significantly improved, the group satisfaction was higher, the client had a lot of emotional knowledge and skills, the emotional stability of migrant children was significantly improved, and the emotional self-regulation ability was enhanced.Secondly,in practical research, the author finally concludes that the group work has special advantages, which can not only create a pleasant and relaxed learning environment for the client, but also provide an environment suitable for group members to interact, which is more efficient than other methods. Moreover, the group work is highly feasible and easy to operate, and it is reproducible and scalable in the research and development of mobile children s emotional management.Third, form a specific group work implementation path, starting from different perspectives and methods, and draw a clear and feasible group work intervention path to improve the emotional management ability of migrant children.
