With the the elementary education curriculum to reform in China,various teaching methods and new models are applied in junior high school physics teaching,such as the cooperative learning,the microlecture,the flipped classroom,the task-driven teaching method,and even the simulation experiment of technology application,which greatly improves the current teaching environment.However,the concept teaching of energy theme in junior high school is still a big difficulty,mainly because of the abstractness of these concepts and some heterogeneous thinking of junior high school students.Through the questionnaire survey of students and interviews with teachers,the author studies the current teaching situation of junior high school physics concepts related to "energy",and concludes that three major problems should be paid attention to in the teaching of concepts related to "energy":low starting point and high requirement;the necessity of experiencing cognitive conflict to effectively form an abstract concept;the necessity of accumulating intuitive representation of energy.Based on constructivism theory and Dewey's learning by doing theory,the task-driven teaching method emphasizes that students construct new cognition independently in the process of completing tasks,and cultivating students' ability to analyze and solve problems.Through theoretical analysis,the author thinks that this teaching method is suitable for the concept teaching of energy theme.Through the analysis of the three important steps to master a concept of energy theme,promptly perception,understanding and application of the concept,this paper first determines four principles in task design:Guiding principle;Principle of meeting objectives;Principle of hierarchy;Principle of operability.Secondly,the teaching process of concepts related to"energy" under the task-driven teaching method is divided into six steps.The first step is to lead in a scene.The second step is to analyze tasks and communicate with each other.The third step is to complete tasks by students under timely guidance of teachers.And the fourth step is that the teacher organizes a communication and evaluation between students.The next Step is to conquer the ultimate task of concept application.The last step is to summarize,transfer and expand knowledge by teachers and students.Finally,this paper discusses the practical research of this teaching mode.After studying the new curriculum standard of junior high school physics,the author applies the task-driven teaching method to the concept teaching of work and mechanical energy in Chapter 11 of the eighth grade physics textbook published by the people's education press.This paper records two practical cases and their analysis,through the comparative analysis of the results of the experimental class and the control class before and after the practice,as well as the feedback of students,finally draws the conclusion of the practical research.Compared with the traditional teaching method,the task-driven teaching method can improve students' learning autonomy and enthusiasm.This teaching method takes students as the main body and conforms to the law of students' concept cognition,which is beneficial for students mastering the concept of energy theme.
